Kasbo Drops Remix EP Following the Release of Third Studio Album ‘The Learning of Urgency’

by Press Release

Following the release of his critically acclaimed third studio album, The Learning of Urgency, Swedish producer Kasbo has unveiled a four-track remix EP featuring reinterpretations from some of the industry’s most innovative talents.

Leading the EP is a remix of “Drift” by GRAMMY Award-winning producer Joseph Ray of the British trio NERO, infusing the track with his signature atmospheric depth. GRAMMY-nominated Australian artist 1tbsp offers an indie-house spin on the album opener “Alive,” while Model Man puts his unique touch on the standout single “Atlantis.” The EP is rounded out by fellow Swede and close friend DJ Carpenter, who reimagines “Migration” with his own distinctive flair.

Kasbo, whose music has garnered over 500 million combined streams, has been praised for his introspective approach on The Learning of Urgency—his most personal work to date. The album reflects a significant shift in his mindset, moving away from the relentless “rise and grind” mentality that dominates modern society, to a more balanced and thoughtful approach to his art and mental health.

After testing his new material at major festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Hangout Festival earlier this year, Kasbo is set to embark on his first headlining tour starting on October 11.

With accolades including Sweden’s P3 Gold Award for ‘Dance Artist of the Year’ and praise from prominent outlets like Billboard, The FADER, and Stereogum, Kasbo continues to cement his place as a multifaceted talent in modern dance music—excelling as a live performer, DJ, and producer.

The remix EP is available now across all major streaming platforms.
