Kaleena Zanders, one of dance music’s most fearless forces, injects new fire into Paris Hilton and Megan Thee Stallion’s unapologetic club anthem “BBA (Bad Bitch Academy)” with a bold, bass-driven remix that redefines femme power for the dancefloor. Out Friday, May 30, the rework arrives just in time for Pride Month, amplifying the original’s swagger with Zanders’ signature house energy, electric funk, and empowering soul.
While Megan Thee Stallion’s razor-sharp verses and Paris Hilton’s iconic glam remain front and center, Zanders transforms “BBA” into a full-bodied, high-voltage anthem built to shake sound systems and elevate self-expression. Her remix is more than a rework—it’s a sonic celebration of queerness, empowerment, and club culture at its most joyful and rebellious.
“As a Black queer artist,” Zanders shares, “this remix gave me the space to celebrate boldness, sass, and raw feminine energy. I imagined Paris and Megan fronting a futuristic electronic band, and infused the track with soulful vocal harmonies, guitar riffs, and that Kaleena Zanders sauce. I even brought in my friend Liam Benayon to help conceptualize a drop that’s truly out of this world.”
Originally featured on Paris Hilton’s 2024 album Infinite Icon, “BBA” stood out with its electro-pop bravado, viral-ready chorus, and star-studded music video starring Heidi Klum, Lance Bass, and Meghan Trainor. Zanders’ remix raises the stakes, layering club-ready swagger over a foundation of radiant house grooves.
The release is also part of Infinite Icon: The Remixes, a new collection dropping May 30, with proceeds supporting Rainbow Railroad, an organization that provides emergency aid to at-risk LGBTQI+ individuals around the world. Throughout June, Paris Hilton and her nonprofit 11:11 Media Impact will donate $11 for every Instagram or TikTok video that uses a track from the remix album—up to $111,111 in total.
Zanders’ remix lands during a landmark season for the rising star. This spring alone, she supported Trixie Mattel on tour in Salt Lake City and San Diego, and rocked Weekend 1 of Coachella with three dynamic performances: a Thursday throwdown with Chris Lake at the Campgrounds, a back-to-back set with Coco + Breezy on the Quasar Stage, and a solo set at the Do LaB that brought the house down.
With her remix of “BBA,” Kaleena Zanders solidifies her status as a trailblazing voice in electronic music—bold, inclusive, and electric.
