Kai Wachi DEMIGOD Tour | Bass Badassery!

by The Freaks - Staff

After releasing his debut album “DEMIGOD “earlier this year, Kai Wachi started his first headline tour with Sam Lamar. Having appeared in countless festivals and gained the support of some of the biggest Bass artists, Wachi’s finishing 2019 with a bang. Wachi takes over the stage and rules the night with his finesse for elevating the genre.

At only 24, Kai Wachi’s music catalog has included some of the sickest sounding Bass hits out there. In 2017 he went on tour with Black Tiger Sex Machine and appeared in multiple festivals like Lost Lands and Bass Canyon. His work includes six EPs, countless collaborations and mashups that defy the ordinary.

An exceptional Trap and Dubstep producer, Wachi knows how to provide the hardcore Bass sound that drives fans crazy with his extra special touch of fantasy and badass drama. Taking chances and pushing the limits of the genre, Wachi amazes with his songs that tell a story meant to blow you away. Kai’s “Demigod” single rips you to your core with heavy, grinding and vibrating beats meant to transform your music experience. “Between the Lines” provides a roller coaster ride by producing everything that is imaginable for a Bass track. Its intense beats and complex chords are melded with guitars riffs and screaming vocals that keep going without a lull. “Lost” takes the listener down a path of the unknown with a repeated melody played with guitar, piano, and synths. Its carnival ride effect ironically ends with a gentle piano solo. “Strangers” featuring Grabbitz, is a classic which would satisfy any Bass fan with its reflective vocals and definitive beats giving it a fresh sound. The playful beat in “Photograph” along with Claudia Bouvette‘s pensive vocals are a perfect balance with the uncertainty reflected in the melody of the song. The photograph is all that there is to look back on a night that the singer can’t forget.

If Wachi’s intention was to summon the power of the gods to produce this album then he’s succeeded. Demigod is a tour de force of Bass production. Wachi provides a solid and exploratory album exercising his audio kinetic skills. Us mere mortals are not the same after hearing this album because it induces a craving for more of his intense and satisfying beats.
