Lost In Dreams Records reunites two of electronic music’s most reliable mood-setters on “Stardust,” the new single from Just A Gent and enigmatic topliner collective Nevve, arriving February 20th. Equal parts dance-pop surge and late-night lift, the track continues Just A Gent’s mission of crafting dancefloor narratives that balance motion with emotion—an approach rooted in his storytelling instincts and refined through years of genre-fluid releases.

On “Stardust,” melodic house euphoria collides with retro-futurist energy. The production leans into sleek, modern sound design while tipping its hat to ‘90s trance and Eurodance influences. Nevve’s vocal carries the emotional core, telling the story of surrendering to a new romance with clarity and warmth. Around it, Just A Gent builds a luminous framework of buoyant basslines, chiming bell textures, muted brass pads, and staccato synth hits that propel the track forward with effortless glow.

Reflecting on the single’s atmosphere, Just A Gent explains, “‘Stardust’ is a feel good anthem that I’ve been sitting on for a couple years. I wanted to create something I can imagine future humans flying through space can groove out to.” That sense of weightless escapism runs throughout the track, blending nostalgia with a forward-facing sheen.

The release marks a long-awaited follow-up to their 2019 collaboration “Open Spaces,” a fan favorite that has amassed over 11.7 million streams and earned tastemaker support from Alison Wonderland, Aston Shuffle, and JVNA. Since that initial pairing, both artists have significantly expanded their reach. Just A Gent has continued to showcase his versatility through collaborations with PhaseOne, Slumberjack, Jacknife, and Seiren, alongside official remixes for Tame Impala & ZHU, Illenium, Jason Ross, What So Not, and Kasbo. His music has also landed sync placements in Need for Speed and Netflix’s Fair Play, while his live profile continues to grow. In 2025, he provided tour support for LYNY and is currently preparing for an upcoming U.S. tour.

Meanwhile, Nevve remains one of the most influential vocal forces in modern dance music. The intentionally mysterious collective has amassed more than 2 billion streams tied to the project, lending their voice to high-profile releases alongside Subtronics, Seven Lions, Trivecta, Wooli, Dillon Francis, Big Gigantic, Boombox Cartel, BISHU, Last Heroes, and Flux Pavilion.

Blending nostalgia, futuristic polish, and undeniable emotional pull, “Stardust” captures the strengths of both collaborators. In doing so, Just A Gent and Nevve honor dance music’s roots while shaping its next evolution—adding another resonant chapter to the growing catalog of Lost In Dreams Records.

“Stardust” is available now on all platforms via Lost In Dreams Records.
