Montréal-based duo Jump Source, comprised of Patrick Holland and Francis Latreille and also known as priori, have announced their debut full-length album, Fold, set for release on April 30th via NAFF Recordings. Alongside the album, the duo shares the lead double single: “Shattered” featuring Helena Deland & Ross Meen and “Affect” featuring Loukeman.
Fold represents Jump Source’s most ambitious project to date. Drawing on the electronic LP boom of the early 2000s, the album balances dancefloor-ready tracks with a distinctly eclectic, everything-goes pop sensibility. Collaborators include POiSON GiRL FRiEND, billy woods, CFCF, and more, spanning peak-hour club hits, folktronic ballads, and unexpected rap interludes. Themes of turbulence—life’s highs and lows, connections gained and lost on tour, and mundane moments transformed by shifting timezones—run throughout, with the city serving as a vivid, textured backdrop.
Over the past decade, Patrick and Francis have established a unique presence in electronic music, blending infectious dancefloor energy with jagged, experimental turns. Their shared studio has become a creative hub, producing and mixing for artists including James K., Car Culture, Maara, and Tiga.
Jump Source will perform both DJ and live sets internationally this year. Their DJ residency at Public Records in New York City kicks off in March, followed by sets in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago. A special live performance in Montréal celebrating the release of Fold will be announced soon.
Pre-order or save Fold and stream “Shattered” featuring Helena Deland & Ross Meen and “Affect” featuring Loukeman to experience the duo’s expansive debut, with further live dates and updates coming soon.
