Two of Dirtybird’s rising soloists, Julian Sacheli and Mike Kerrigan, join forces for Inhibitions, the latest single in the label’s Flight Week series, released today.

A nonstop heater designed for peak-time energy, Inhibitions features rolling percussion, tech-infused synth leads, and thumping kicks that lock into a tight, functional groove. Drawing from classic tribal house influences, the track uses subtle rhythmic and textural shifts to carry momentum forward, making it equally suited for club peak hours or extended late-night sets. Julian Sacheli reflects, “I had a blast making this one with Mike! We wanted to bring back that tribal feeling house music had back in the day and I think we nailed it.”

Julian Sacheli, based in Miami, is one half of the duo Black V Neck, which he co-founded with Ian Beato in 2017. Together, they’ve released on Club Sweat, Repopulate Mars, and This Ain’t Bristol, launched their own Retail Records imprint, and performed at festivals including Coachella, Ultra, and EDC. Sacheli began his solo journey last year with the release of Be Alone.

San Francisco-based Mike Kerrigan has become a standout talent on Dirtybird, first appearing on the 2020 Couchout Compilation with “I Caught A Vibe.” He has since delivered collaborations like Penguin Hit Squad with n808, his solo Liquid Dreams EP, and contributions to the Dirtybird Players Compilation (“Dark Play”). Kerrigan also participated in the label’s inaugural Flight Week writing camp last year, reuniting with n808 for “Buckle Up.”

Inhibitions is out now via Dirtybird, continuing the label’s tradition of forward-thinking, dancefloor-focused house music.
