Hailing from Yumbo, Colombia and now based in Málaga, Spain, Julian Collazos is part of a new wave of Latin house and tech producers making waves in the global scene. Born into a family of musicians—his father a salsa percussionist—Collazos infuses Latin rhythms with minimal tech to craft a uniquely groove-driven sound. His work has already appeared on Moon Harbour, Mindshake Records, Too Many Rules, and Hottrax, with “Above” marking his first release on Dirtybird.
