Long-standing Dim Mak Techno artist JSTJR teams up with German DJ duo OBS for their latest release, “Kickdrum”, an underground banger set to drop on August 16. Reflecting on the creation of the track, JSTJR said, “When OBS reached out to work on a track, I was excited to see what they had for me. Their version of ‘Kickdrum’ was already super dope, but, in the spirit of the name, I added my personal touch (and an even harder kick), and the track went from a 10 to an 11.”
OBS shared their perspective on the collaboration: “We had this drop idea for a very long time, something really badass and right in your face. After a festival gig, the lyrics just came to mind, and we knew they’d fit perfectly with the demo. We’ve been following JSTJR for a while and loved what he’s been doing. When we sent him the track, he really took it to the next level.”
