Ibiza is set for another landmark summer as John Summit announces his first-ever residency on the island, a milestone moment for one of electronic music’s most influential modern figures. From June 1 through July 27, 2026, the Chicago-born, Miami-based DJ and producer will take over [UNVRS] every Monday for nine consecutive weeks, bringing his Experts Only brand to one of the island’s most forward-thinking venues as part of its highly anticipated second season.
The residency signals a natural progression for an artist whose ascent has been driven by instinct, connection, and an unwavering bond with the dancefloor. Over the past few years, John Summit has evolved from underground favorite to global headliner without sacrificing the raw energy that defines his sound. With more than 1.5 billion streams worldwide, two #1 U.S. dance radio hits, and four Top 10 entries on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, his rise reflects both cultural impact and consistency at the highest level.
Summit’s relationship with Ibiza has been steadily building since his island debut in 2022 at Ushuaïa Ibiza, where his high-intensity sets quickly resonated with the ANTS crowd. He returned in 2023 with standout appearances at Ushuaïa Ibiza and Hï Ibiza, deepening his connection with the island. That momentum peaked in 2025 with a sold-out two-night takeover at Hï Ibiza, additional ANTS performances, and a widely celebrated collaboration with Anyma at [UNVRS], reinforcing Summit’s place within Ibiza’s modern club culture.
The residency announcement follows a period of extraordinary global success. John Summit has sold out some of the world’s most iconic venues, including Madison Square Garden in New York City, where 17,000 tickets disappeared in under two hours, BMO Stadium in Los Angeles for 22,000 fans, The O2 in London, and three consecutive nights at the Kia Forum, drawing more than 45,000 attendees.
