Australian/Chilean artist Jalmar has teamed up with Australian/Venezuelan producer Pinky Promise for “Badina,” a vibrant new track that blends Dembow, Caribbean and Latin urban influences with Shatta-inspired rhythms.
Built around energy, movement and a carefree summer atmosphere, “Badina” brings together punchy rhythms and infectious Latin club energy for a dancefloor-ready track with plenty of personality. The production keeps the focus on movement, creating the kind of feel-good atmosphere designed to get people dancing.
The title “Badina” comes from a playful twist on the phrase “bad Latina,” capturing the cheeky attitude and character at the center of the track. Rather than taking itself too seriously, Jalmar set out to create something fun and energetic—a track made to bring people together and get the night moving.
The release also continues Jalmar and Pinky Promise‘s ongoing collaboration. Together, the pair are developing a shared Latin urban sound shaped by their different backgrounds, connecting Latin America and Australia through music while bringing their individual influences into the mix.
