IVORY Reboots His Sound With Relentless Riddim Cut “RESET”

Parisian bass juggernaut IVORY makes a fierce return to Bassrush Records with “RESET,” a no-mercy riddim weapon that strips his sound back to its rawest core. Marking his fourth release on the imprint since last year, the single signals a deliberate recalibration—one that taps directly into the uncompromising aggression and system-shaking intensity that first established IVORY as a staple in dubstep’s upper ranks.

From the opening moments, “RESET” feels like a hostile reboot. Ominous sci-fi atmospheres and blaring alarms set the stage before a robotic command initiates the reset sequence. What follows is pure impact: crushing sub pressure, twisted low-end grooves, abrasive squawks, and laser-sharp sound design engineered for maximum physical response. There’s no excess here—just confrontational riddim built to dominate the pit and punish sound systems.

Reflecting on the intention behind the track, IVORY explains, “‘RESET’ isn’t just a song, it’s a return to my roots and a reminder of why I started making this kind of music in the first place.

The single arrives on the heels of the four-track Steel Reign EP and last year’s “HIGH KNEES,” both of which highlighted IVORY’s evolution without losing sight of his sound-system foundations. “HIGH KNEES” earned heavyweight support from HOL!, Samplifire, ILLENIUM, Level Up, Kompany, DJ Diesel, and Dion Timmer, alongside coverage from Dub Rebellion, Dubstep uNk, UFO Network, EKM, Find Your Sounds, Fresh Music Freaks, and Zona Emergente.

On stage, IVORY continues to thrive in high-intensity environments. Recent appearances at Apocalypse: Zombieland, BOO Seattle, and a series of late-night afters have seen his sets push deeper into the heavy—favoring raw sonics, minimal compromise, and full-body energy. Those same instincts drive the brutal efficiency of “RESET.”

Operating under the IVORY alias since 2015, Andy Caboche has spent more than a decade tearing through dubstep’s many dimensions. From the Beatport-topping breakout “Retro” to the interstellar Dead Space EP, the pit-ready chaos of “Moshpit,” and the ferocity of the Bleep Bloop EP, his catalog has remained in constant motion while staying true to its core. Recent years have only amplified that reach, with defining festival moments at Lost Lands, Tomorrowland, and Bass Canyon.

With “RESET,” IVORY makes his intentions unmistakably clear. This is a calculated return to weight, pressure, and function—built on rigid rhythms, abrasive bass, and unfiltered aggression. It’s a reminder that when it comes to raw impact, IVORY knows exactly where to strike.

RESET” is available now on all platforms via Bassrush Records.
