Global electronic trailblazers Infected Mushroom return with a towering new release, “LA Beast,” arriving Friday, December 12 via Monstercat. Clocking in at an expansive ten minutes, the track is a high-intensity fusion of heavy metal, rock, psytrance, and flashes of French techno—built as a relentless 145 BPM weapon designed to shake dance floors from start to finish.
Created alongside longtime collaborator Bliss, “LA Beast” stands out not just for its scale, but for how it came together. For the first time, Amit “Duvdev” Duvdevani, Erez Eisen, and Bliss worked side by side in the same studio, marking a shift from their usual long-distance collaborations. That in-person energy translates into a track that feels raw, immediate, and unapologetically powerful, balancing aggressive momentum with unexpected emotional turns.
Bliss’ visit to Los Angeles sparked the collaboration, with sessions unfolding over several days following a performance at Dreamstate. The result is a track that blends clean, driving production with subtle retro touches and an unconventional, emotionally charged ending that subverts expectations rather than chasing a predictable peak.
“LA Beast” continues a strong run of recent releases from Infected Mushroom, following “What You Know You Know You Know” and “Lightweight.” All three tracks will appear on IM30, a milestone project celebrating 30 years of Infected Mushroom, set for release on January 30, 2026. The upcoming release underscores the duo’s continued evolution—three decades in, still pushing boundaries and redefining their sound.
“Infected Mushroom’s ‘LA Beast’” is available now on all platforms via Monstercat.
