Rising avant-pop sensation I’MMORTAL has unveiled a mesmerizing video to accompany her latest , ‘KILLED U IN A DREAM,’ which was released on June 7th under her own label, Immortality. The video premiered on Wonderland Magazine, following recognition from top publications such as Metal Magazine, CLASH Magazine, and EARMILK. I’MMORTAL, who splits her time between New York and London, is a multifaceted talent—a music , vocalist, visual artist, and creative director. ‘KILLED U IN A DREAM‘ features additional drum programming by Duanna and production by Danis Zhang, with mixing and mastering by Mikaelin “Blue” Bluespruce (known for working with Solange, Blood Orange, and Carly Rae Jepsen).

Influenced by artists like Sevdaliza, Britney Spears, Lady GaGa, Lana Del Rey, Bjork, and SOPHIE, her unique sound appeals to fans of Alison Wonderland, , Deadmau5, Pastel Ghost, and Billie Eilish.

The music video for ‘KILLED U IN A DREAM‘ is an otherworldly experience, with I’MMORTAL portraying a dark, goddess-like figure. Directed by the acclaimed PXKRW, known for their ability to craft hypnotic, hyper-realistic dreamscapes, the video takes viewers on a journey through destruction, death, and rebirth. The haunting visuals, coupled with disorienting lighting effects, create a surreal atmosphere as I’MMORTAL captivates with her enchanting movements and expressions.

I’MMORTAL shared her thoughts on the video: “This music video is a reflection of the concept of metamorphosis. Collaborating with the directing PXKRW over several months, we developed a vision that encapsulates a supernatural being undergoing a profound transformation. The goal was to create a performance-based video with stunning styling and makeup that complemented their signature VFX. The styling and makeup were intentionally designed to emphasize the metamorphosis theme, contrasting the initial white dress look with the final black dress look. My personal favorite was the neo-baby bump look, which, combined with PXKRW‘s VFX, represented the chrysalis stage of metamorphosis. This project also marked my first venture into movement-based performance, and working with movement director Donna Kim pushed me to explore new creative territories. It was a challenging but rewarding experience, inspiring me to delve deeper into movement for future projects!”
