The chill may be setting in, but Igloofest Montreal is back from January 16 to February 8, 2025, to light up the winter nights in the heart of Old Port with its electrifying lineup. The world’s iciest will once again turn up the heat, promising “the hottest of your life!” Featuring international heavyweights Four Tet, Michael Bibi, Claptone, Apashe, , Skepta (Más Tiempo), Steve Angello, Adriatique, and many others, Igloofest is set to deliver unforgettable nights of explosive beats and wild energy. And for young festival-goers, Igloofête offers free-entry Saturday parties with music and treats for the whole family.

This year, Igloofest is taking the party beyond Montreal, bringing its unique winter festival experience to Gatineau from February 13 to 15 and Quebec City from March 6 to 8, pushing the festival to new boundaries with a province-wide tour.

Weekend Highlights: Global Icons and Unmissable Sets

Opening Weekend (January 16-18): The festival kicks off with UK tech house sensation Michael Bibi making his Montreal debut. Friday night Montreal’s own Apashe bringing theatrical energy, and Saturday spotlights the iconic Claptone, who will share the stage with Dombresky for a euphoric night.

Second Weekend (January 23-25): This weekend brings cloud rap star Bladee on Thursday, with Zeds Dead and Tape B breaking the ice on Friday. Skepta (Más Tiempo) takes over on Saturday with his debut house-infused DJ set, bringing a powerful end to a weekend of bass-heavy excitement.

Third Weekend (January 30-February 1): February starts with vintage grooves by Bon Entendeur and vibrant rhythms from Boston Bun. Friday’s lineup includes Steve Angello of Swedish House Mafia, with smooth Afrobeat sounds by KILIMANJARO. Saturday’s highlight is Adriatique and rising star Marten Lou, promising an immersive melodic house experience.

Final Weekend (February 6-8): As Igloofest’s grand finale approaches, Mahmut Orhan and Maxi Meraki bring the heat on Thursday. Friday features Cloonee and Classmatic for an infectious house set, leading up to the final night with the beloved Four Tet and Avalon Emerson closing out this monumental 17th edition.

Showcasing Montreal’s Home-Grown Talent

Igloofest’s lineup also shines a spotlight on Montreal’s thriving music scene. The Homeby6 collective kicks things off, with local stars Félix Patry, WillWash, and Tali Rose setting the stage. Other highlights include Marie Davidson, the Club Sagacité crew, and Mandiz on the main stage. Across the weekends, local favorites like Distinct Motive, Lia Plutonic, Laylit collective, Oiseau de nuit b2b döb, and Molyness will perform, bringing fresh sounds and unique styles to the festival.

The final night’s vibe will be unforgettable, featuring Montreal’s Elles&U and the Vibe Benders collective spreading good energy with Afrobeats from KidCrayola, LaSkway, and YKTV. The festival will close in style with Unikorn leading the last under a glittering sky.
