Iceland Eclipse unveils its next phase of programming for 12–15 August 2026, with festival passes and accommodations now back on sale. Set against the powerful natural backdrop of Hellissandur’s glaciers, craters, black-sand beaches, and waterfalls—and capped at an intimate 3,333 guests—the festival offers a once-in-a-century convergence of music, art, science, space, and technology in celebration of Iceland’s last total solar eclipse until 2196.
The experience unfolds through four signature pillars: DANCE, LEARN, CONNECT, and EXPLORE, each designed to deepen discovery, community, and creative immersion.
DANCE expands with major new additions including Captain Hook, CloZee, Ida Engberg, Kenny Dope, and Nick Warren, joining the previously announced lineup featuring Imogen Heap, Reggie Watts, Booka Shade (Live), Arc De Soleil, Ash Lauryn, Ryan Crosson, Daði Freyr, Emilíana Torrini, MEDUZA³, Nightmares on Wax, and more.
In LEARN, the festival welcomes new voices like Ben Nowack, Gunnar Ólafsson, Emily Bilbao, Jason Achilles Mezilis, Mörður “Moli” Gunnarsson Ottesen, Ruth Daniel, Samantha Tauber, Steven Blumenfeld of Burning Man, and Tony Cho, each offering future-forward sessions at the intersection of space, climate innovation, creative activism, AI, and cultural exploration.
CONNECT, in collaboration with Cosmic Pineapple, expands with practitioners and visionaries such as Android Jones, Ayla Schafer, Chris Dyer, Curawaka, Leanne Falco, María Valdivia, Scarlett de la Torre, Red Owl Medicine Woman, Tinna María Verret, and Zoey Wind, adding depth to the festival’s wellness and consciousness-focused programming.
New additions across Iceland’s own creative ecosystem—including Samwise, Carla Rose, Bensol, Agzilla, Cell7, Orang Volante, and Gunnar Ólafsson—further highlight the festival’s commitment to uplifting local perspectives and talent.
THE PORTAL AT ICELAND ECLIPSE: INNOVATION RESIDENCY & IMMERSIVE RETREAT
Running 19 July–15 August 2026, The Portal at Iceland Eclipse is a month-long co-creation residency and pop-up village on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. The retreat gathers artists, technologists, astronauts, cultural stewards, and innovators to prototype new approaches to living and creating. Daily workshops, wellness practices, collaborative studios, and nature-based explorations culminate during the total eclipse on 12 August, where projects born within the residency will be activated during Iceland Eclipse itself.
LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES & SOCIAL IMPACT PARTNERS
Within the LEARN and Social Impact tracks, participants will engage with innovators pushing the edge of space technology, regenerative living, creative activism, and climate solutions. Confirmed partners include EarthPercent, Eden Foundation, Playing For Change, SciArt Exchange, Space For Humanity, the Iceland Space Agency, and the University of Hawaiʻi Institute for Astronomy Solar Wind Sherpas. Together, they’ll transform Snæfellsnes into a living classroom through citizen science, eclipse expeditions, music-powered philanthropy, and community projects designed to leave a lasting local legacy.
COSMIC CONNECTION: A SANCTUARY FOR WELLNESS, WISDOM & INNER EXPLORATION
Curated with Cosmic Pineapple founder Kim Booth, Cosmic Connection offers breathwork, movement, mythology, and elemental teachings woven with psychological and esoteric exploration. Within the Cosmic Activation Dome, guests can dive into meditation, yoga, mantra, ecstatic dance, cacao ceremonies, sound healing, womb healing, inner child work, and family constellations.
Each evening, the Sacred Fire becomes the heartbeat of the space—hosting storytelling with Icelandic elders and intimate performances from artists such as Ayla Schafer and Curawaka. A dedicated Healing Area offers sessions in massage, energy work, divination, and more, supported by additional restorative spaces including a Cacao Elixir Bar and a Tea Lounge.
The space will be guided by a diverse constellation of practitioners, including Heimir Logi, Dr. Haruldur Erlendsson, Heiðrún Magdalena, Julia’s Alchemy, Luana Schwengber, Sara María Forynja, Óli Bjorn, ATMA, Nicolai Englebrecht, Tree Carr, Semra Haksever, Giose Milli, Kim Booth, Sofia Thom, Patrick Kronfli, Sacred Explorer, Maria Valdivia, Tao Txana, The Blue Lions, Red Owl Medicine Woman, and contributors from the Huni Kuin Family and the Wixarika tribe.
BUILDING TOWARD TOTALITY
As August 2026 approaches, Iceland Eclipse will continue to unveil program developments across all pillars—DANCE, LEARN, CONNECT, and EXPLORE—delivering a once-in-a-century gathering where community, creativity, and Earth’s natural wonder converge.
Final additions will arrive at Fourth Contact, expected February 2026.
