Horst Arts & Music Festival Announces Full Lineup for 11th Edition

by Press Release

Horst Arts & Music Festival is set to return for its 11th edition at Asiat Park in Vilvoorde, Belgium, welcoming festival-goers from May 1–3, 2025. With 115 unique artists on the lineup, this year’s festival promises a deep dive into electronic music culture, blending underground legends with cutting-edge talent.

A Lineup That Pushes Boundaries

Topping this year’s bill is none other than Four Tet, delivering an exclusive Belgian performance on May 1. Known for seamlessly weaving together house, techno, bass, and breaks, he embodies the sonic diversity that defines Horst Arts & Music.

Beyond its headliner, Horst continues to refine its avant-garde programming, spotlighting global club sounds that remain underappreciated in mainstream circuits. Expect acts like Makadsi, who bridges Arab and North American music influences, BADSISTA and Verraco, who showcase Brazilian and Colombian electronic innovations, and gyrofield, a Hong Kong-based artist reinventing IDM heritage.

Other highlights include:

  • DVS1, curating a new Horst stage on Friday with Generations in Sync (DJ Pete, Erik Jabari, Moritz von Oswald).
  • Job Jobse, returning to provide a sunset soundtrack.
  • Exclusive back-to-back sets, such as Erol Alkan & Palms Trax, Polygonia & Steffi, and Hannah Holland & Josh Caffé.
  • A rare B3B set from DJ Stingray 313 and Helena Hauff, blending Detroit electro with German underground energy.

In a unique collaboration, DVS1 teams up with acclaimed architect Leopold Banchini to unveil an innovative festival project, details of which will be revealed soon.

New Challenges, New Opportunities

This edition marks a new chapter for Horst Arts & Music. Originally set to expand to the Darse site, logistical and licensing challenges led the festival to reimagine its existing space.

“Doing the same thing twice is not in our DNA,” says organizer Jochem Daelman. “The theme of this edition is about turning challenges into opportunities—something visitors will discover firsthand.”

International Collaborations & Community Partnerships

Once again, Horst teams up with:

  • Kiosk Radio & The Lot Radio, curating the Moon Ra stage, featuring a mix of local gems and international heavyweights.
  • Resident Advisor, presenting a revamped Vesshcell, shifting from iconic pop edits to an experimental live showcase featuring Mark Knekelhuis and Parris Smith’s Volition Immanent.
  • FOR ALL QUEENS!, returning with a 7-hour performance at Soleil Rouge.

Details on the arts and architecture program will be announced soon. Remaining tickets are available at www.horstartsandmusic.com.
