Farius – “2020 Pride Mix”

UK producer/DJ Farius has partnered up with Apple Music in celebration of this year’s pride month, to deliver an exclusive guest mix. “The 2020 Pride Mix” takes you through a musical journey of colors, coming out, and love which are resemblant in each hand-picked track. Mounika – “I Need Space”

Mounika. returns three years after his debut LP with his sophomore release that is described as an electro chill wonder. “I Need Space,” is a nod to his previous album “How Are You.” He is seduced by this new way of composing and will even end up sticking to it for all the tracks on the new album giving this project a very special flavor.

Gettoblaster – “This Beat”

Unstoppable duo Gettoblaster delivers their DFTD debut with “This Beat“. Keeping the underground sound burning, Gettoblaster embraces a classic house sound while incorporating a contemporary twist. Nineteen-year-old composer, producer, and saxophonist Lorenzo Gordon, better known as Low Lite, marks his debut on Gramatik‘s Lowtemp label with new single “Feelin’ Lost“. A song years in the making, this release is a coming of age story pieced together as the artist navigated his teen years. Featuring vocalist Yazmin and guitarist Stephen Maxwell, “Feelin’ Lost” is a genre conglomerate blending elements of contemporary pop, electronic music, and blues.

CRi – “Never Really Get There”

French-Canadian producer and live act Christophe Dubé, aka CRi, shares his latest single Never Really Get Therewith fellow Montréal native Jesse Mac Cormack out now on Anjunadeep. This release weaves CRi’s alternative electronic sound with Jesse’s delicate vocals. The single is accompanied by a music video filmed during lockdown amid the current Coronavirus pandemic. BELMONT BOYS – “PJ”

Up-and-coming duo BELMONT BOYS released their debut single PJ” on dance music giant Insomniac’s record label, In / Rotation. A moody deep house cut, this release weaves sparse vocal samples, downbeat piano chords and high-pitched flute sounds around its driving bassline; harnessing a minimalistic yet highly danceable vibe.

Robert Grace – “Fake Fine”

Irish pop newcomer Robert Grace releases his newest single “Fake Fine“. Robert has the ability to write slices of cool heartfelt pop readymade for radio and ‘Fake Fine’ is no exception. Showcasing his skills as a songwriter and a performer, this release sums up the trials and tribulations of living in the current climate.

Scarlet Pleasure – “Garden”

Copenhagen’s alt-pop trio Scarlet Pleasure releases their new album “Garden“. Just like in the real world, this Garden is constantly developing, and even after release, new songs will blossom and will be added to the album during 2020. The release is up-tempo, but slow reggae vibe, reminiscent of Sting and The Police.

Adventure Club – “Back To You”

Electronic duo Adventure Club mark their second release of the new decade with Back to You“. The new tune, featuring the vocal talent of fellow Canadian and singer/songwriter Sara Diamond, serves as the second song to be put out from their upcoming sophomore album set for release this summer. Heavy, resonating synths start out the three-and-a-half-minute production, with Diamond’s smooth-flowing vocals following not too far behind. The duo’s signature energetic dubstep sound is interspersed throughout the entirety of their latest edgy sonic endeavor, perfectly complemented by the track’s melodically ethereal vibe courtesy of Diamond.

Charlie XCX – “Claws” (Whethan Remix)

Acclaimed producer Whethan just released a surprise trap remix of English singer, songwriter, and record producer Charli XCX’s 2020 single “Claws“. This new rework is a massive dancefloor-ready hit!

MYRNE – “Forbidden Lovers”

Current circumstances have many of us feeling more separated from those we care about than ever, something that MYRNE knows all about. His newest track “Forbidden Lovers” is an ode to the physical and societal bonds that keep people apart, told through a cinematic and emotive sonic landscape. The release opens with instrumental chords and the sounds of birds chirping as if the listener has just woken up somewhere peaceful in springtime, but the lyrics quickly tell us that something, or rather someone, is missing from the equation. MYRNE wrote this track while on tour in the States away from his partner for long periods, and the quality of the song’s dreamy and ethereal melodies reflects his wistful mindset.

Oregon’s bearded bass sensation Hairitage is dropping his first solo single on Kannibalen Records with “Freeway“. His superb songwriting abilities and technical wizardry make his tracks memorable to every listener. Yoste – “A Few Brief Moments”

Yoste shares one of his most introspective and relatable releases yet with a new piercing release “A Few Brief Moments. This release doesn’t just bristle with enduring afflictions such as disconnect and anxiety, it’s also full of hope as a result of unconditional love which is just what the doctor ordered during a pandemic. Amplified by its mid-tempo electro-pop that is sure to creep into the audience’s subconscious.

ford. – “Hold On”

ford. returns with new single “Hold On“, featuring Swedish-Iranian singer-songwriter Ayelle. Underpinned by Ayelle’s sensual, delicate vocals, this single is an enchanting track that melds elements of modern R&B with lo-fi electronica.

Jauz – “Wildlife”

US DJ and producer Jauz collaborated with rising singer-songwriter Karra on their new single, “Wildlife” The collaboration for this new release happened in the midst of the pandemic and was made on Twitch via a Zoom call between the two artists. “Wildlife” is a shimmering slice of dance-pop that pairs Karra’s soaring vocals with euphoric production that leaves a lasting impression.

Kryder x Nino Lucarelli – “Stay With Me”

Kryder teams up with Nino Lucarelli for his latest offering, “Stay With Me“. This release is a shimmering piece of dance music magic. From the massive synth pads that take the lead, the dream team builds towards a beautiful climax, then takes things down a notch with luscious piano chords, to return in full force again. “Stay With Me” illustrates a harmonious balance between electronic and live music by featuring rock-inspired guitar riffs.
