#HNTT | Roy Rosenfeld | Delivering the Feels on EP, “Rumbala”

Roy Rosenfeld has teamed up with All Day I Dream once again for a stunning four-track EP that delivers all the ooey-gooey feels. Rosenfeld erupted out of the underground scene in Israel to become a globally recognized talent, and thank goodness he did. ADID and label boss Lee Burridge constantly strive to approach deep house from a more emotional and mystical standpoint, and this new EP, titles “Rumbala“, fits seamlessly in with that mission.

“Rumbala” tells a story that begins in darkness and finishes in light. It’s both creepy and beautiful, and from start to finish Rosenfeld makes you feel something. Each track beautifully portrays an emotion— melancholy, desire, curiosity, or pure bliss— without any gimmicks or added lyrics. “Rumbala” is deep house in its raw form, yet at the same time seems to push the boundaries for what the genre can hold.

Rosenfeld always tries to break the molds of cookie-cutter deep house and inspires uniqueness. “Rumbala” allows the listener to be totally present, and in doing so, allows for an escape. The final track, “Trip to Heaven“, might actually be just that, as you will find yourself totally entranced in a state of bliss. Give it a listen!
