HEYZ Drops Explosive Dubstep-Hip-Hop Crossover “Onomono” Featuring Dubbygotbars

Denver-based producer HEYZ returns to Bassrush Records with a knockout single, “Onomono” — a bass-fueled, hip-hop-infused anthem that doubles as the fiery lead track from his forthcoming ‘HEYZ’D And Confused’ EP. Featuring razor-edged verses from Dubbygotbars, the track is a menacing introduction to a new chapter in HEYZ’s sonic evolution, officially out July 2.

“Onomono” opens with eerie, cinematic flair — music box melodies and choir-like harmonies slowly morph into a massive orchestral buildup. As the tension reaches its peak, Dubbygotbars enters with ice-cold precision, delivering bars that slice through the arrangement with aggressive clarity. What follows is a thunderous dubstep drop, blending guttural bass growls with chest-rattling percussion for a sound that’s as dystopian as it is dancefloor-ready.

“SO STOKED to finally release ‘Onomono’ with Dubby,” shares HEYZ. “This is the perfect introductory glimpse into the world we’re building with the ‘HEYZ’D And Confused’ EP—new music, a new tour, and a whole new visual world. Everything is going to be bigger and better this year. I can’t wait to show everyone what’s next.”

This new era builds on the viral success of HEYZ’s 2023 ‘Lost In The HEYZ’ EP, which included the breakout hit “Coming Up (Like That)”—a track that’s amassed over 1.3 million streams and saw major live support from Liquid Stranger. Since then, HEYZ has leveled up his sound, combining dank, nostalgia-tinged bass with genre-defying energy that’s impossible to ignore.

Already this year, HEYZ has graced the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre for Deadrocks, with upcoming appearances at Lost Lands, Wobbleland, Dancefestopia, and more. His newly launched ‘HEY’D And Confused’ tour will bring the chaos to over 35 cities across North America, offering fans a fully immersive experience tied to the EP’s offbeat aesthetic.

As both a standalone track and EP preview, “Onomono” signals a bold leap forward for HEYZ—one where dubstep, rap, and theatrical flair collide in an unapologetically intense package. It’s the kind of track made for late-night festival sets, mosh pits, and mind-bending visuals—proving once again that HEYZ is anything but predictable.

“Onomono” is available now on all streaming platforms via Bassrush Records.
