Sometimes we just have to crush on ourselves ladies. I have never had a more positive festival for my outlook on life, love, and relationships than Electric Forest. Last year, I was an Electric Forest newbie taking in all the sights, sounds, and art. This year I am resolved to explore even more of the magical experiences that Sherwood Forest has to offer. My main goal this year: interact and join the Her Forest circle. Her Forest Group camp offers a safe haven for women to connect, recharge, flow, and dance together, and although I may not be camping with them #goodlife, I am looking forward to meeting this conglomerate of sensational ladies next week.
The Her Forest Women’s Group Camp is for those who identify as women who are seeking an experience that builds community with other Forest Family women. Located in the GA Campgrounds, the Her ForestWomen’s Group Camp, lead by the Group Camp Host, fosters a collaborative space for women Forest-goers to connect and create with each other.
The Her Forest Women’s Group Camp is a designated space for connection, creation, and community building among Forest Family women. This is a collaborative camp where participants assist in setting up and laying out the site, contributing what they can to the group space—from good vibes and colorful tapestries to camping chairs and cooking skills. Campers design their own Electric Forest experience by curating group activities with help from the Women’s Group Camp Host and team: Explore the Forest together. See music together. Circle up. Boogie down. Morning flow. Connect.
This camp is all about supporting the vision of Forest Family women. Any person self-identifying as a woman is welcome to join this camp.
Electric Forest | Her Forest
Sisterhood has become an important element in my everyday life. I have so many wonderful female friends, two of whom I will be spending Forest with, one of them experiencing her very first Electric Forest. I can’t wait to connect and show her all the forest has to offer. Taking both of my festival partners in crime to a Her Forest circle is at the top of my bucket list for the event.
Slept a bit too long and happened to miss the Sisterhood Circle? I’ve been there. Cough* Cough* me AF last year… There are other opportunities to meet your fellow forest females and vibe out. For those of us dancing together Thursday night at Tripolee, look for the Her Forest Flag and come say hello for a hug, a moment of truth, or a welcoming feeling of positivity.
Finally, next on the Her Forest experience is a discussion panel lead by Aaron Rose, that is sure to empower and unify us.
With only one week to go, while you are packing, organizing your outfits, and gathering your essentials… remember the one thing that Forest is known for, Community. I so look forward to meeting all of you, but especially the wonderful and unique women of Sherwood Forest.
