As Head In The Clouds Festival returns for its highly anticipated 2025 edition, fans can now look forward to a next-level culinary experience that rivals the star-studded music lineup. Set to take place on May 31 and June 1 at Brookside at The Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, this year’s food and beverage program is the most expansive in the festival’s history, curated to celebrate the rich and diverse flavors of Asian cuisine.
At the heart of the curation is MAMA’S NIGHTMARKET, the Los Angeles-based collective known for spotlighting neighborhood gems and cultural authenticity. With vendors like Bang Bang Noodles, Good Alley, Heng Heng Chicken Rice, Iki Ramen x Iki Nori, and Jilli, attendees will experience an epicurean journey that pays homage to beloved mom-and-pop eateries and their distinctive offerings. Local favorites in the boba and tea scene—such as Sunright Tea Studio, Odd One Out Tea, and Bluey & Co.—round out the drinkable delights.
“MAMA is all about uplifting our community,” said Jared Jue, founder of MAMA, who emphasized the significance of seeing local restaurants showcased on the same stage as international pop icons. “It’s incredible to see our neighborhood mom-and-pop restaurants showcased alongside global pop stars on such a big stage. That’s what MAMA is all about—shining a spotlight on the amazing food culture that makes up our diverse communities.”
Longtime local heroes like Kogi, Shlap Muan, and The Boiling Crab with King’s Hawaiian will offer exclusive festival menus, while cult-favorite treats like Melona and New York’s finest Korean fried chicken, Rokstar Chicken, are sure to draw lines of hungry fans. Festivalgoers can also enjoy refreshments from returning and new beverage sponsors, including Suntory’s -196 & Maru-Hi, Beatbox, Casamigos, Coca-Cola, Drip, Jinro, Johnnie Walker Blended Scotch Whisky, and Jongga.
This immersive culinary experience is designed to complement an equally dynamic music lineup featuring headliners like G-Dragon, 2NE1, Dean, DPR Ian, Rich Brian, Porter Robinson, and Higher Brothers. The festival also marks the 10th anniversary of 88rising, the cultural powerhouse behind Head In The Clouds.
