HAYLA Continues Her Cinematic Reinvention With Emotional New Single “Enough”

HAYLA is continuing her evolution beyond the dance floor with the release of her emotionally charged new single “Enough,” arriving May 22 via Restless Minds Music and Believe.

Following last month’s release of “Heal,” the GRAMMY-nominated and Gold-certified vocalist is leaning further into cinematic alternative songwriting ahead of her forthcoming album DARK, set for release on July 31, 2026. Together, “Heal” and “Enough” introduce a darker, more introspective creative chapter for the artist — one that trades peak-time festival catharsis for intimate emotional storytelling without losing the soaring intensity that has made her voice one of electronic music’s most recognizable.

Driven by atmospheric production and HAYLA’s unmistakably powerful vocal delivery, “Enough” explores the emotional imbalance of unreciprocated love and the quiet devastation of emotional distance. The track unfolds with restrained vulnerability, capturing the tension between wanting connection and fearing the consequences of expressing it.

“‘Enough’ is about dating. The feeling of uneven ground. Feeling more attached as the person you’re with pulls away,” shared HAYLA. “Knowing you want to say how you feel but aware that may further the distance. Being in solitude holding on to a one sided flame as it looms overhead in silence. Heavy is the unrequited. Is it only me or us? I think you like the idea of me but not the commitment. So you just get enough.”

The single continues a notable artistic shift for HAYLA, whose recent work has begun moving away from straightforward club anthems into emotionally layered alternative-pop territory. While her roots remain firmly tied to electronic music culture, DARK appears poised to expand her identity beyond the collaborations that first introduced her to global audiences.

The release also arrives during a major live performance moment for the artist. Last weekend, HAYLA made her debut on the iconic Kinetic Field main stage at EDC Las Vegas, performing for thousands of fans during one of the festival’s most talked-about sets.

Her performance featured solo material including “Fall Again,” “Freefall,” “Alone,” “Visions of You,” “Embers,” and “Heal,” alongside many of the collaborations that helped define her rise within dance music, including tracks with Kx5, John Summit, KYGO, MEDUZA, ILLENIUM, Nelly Furtado, Sub Focus, and Wilkinson.

The set drew praise across social media, with 1001Tracklists describing the performance as “a treat,” while DJ Lovers Club celebrated the milestone moment by calling HAYLA “one of the greatest EDM vocalists of this decade.”

Fans will soon get the opportunity to experience this evolving creative direction in a more intimate setting through The Dark Tour, which brings HAYLA back across United States this fall. Launching in Chicago on August 6, the tour will travel through major markets across the East Coast, West Coast, and Midwest before concluding at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on September 4.

Unlike her previous tour cycle, which heavily emphasized dance-floor collaborations like “In My Arms” with ILLENIUM, “FADED” with Nelly Furtado, and “Where You Are” and “Shiver” with John Summit, The Dark Tour is positioned as a deeper reflection of her reinvention as both a songwriter and solo artist.

Additional upcoming performances include appearances at Breakaway Music Festival in Columbus, Project GLOW, Badlands Music Festival in Calgary, as well as San Diego Pride and Amsterdam World Pride.

Tickets for The Dark Tour are available now via HAYLA Tour Tickets.
