Hayden James Unveils Third Studio Album ‘We Could Be Love’

by Press Release

Australian multi-platinum artist Hayden James has just released his highly-anticipated third studio album, We Could Be Love, out now via Future Classic. This vibrant collection of tracks includes previously released singles like ‘All In’, ‘Patience’ featuring Karen Harding, ‘Deep Diving’ with UK songstress SHELLS, ‘Make It’ with fellow Aussie producer Kormak, and the album’s title track, ‘We Could Be Love’, a collaboration with electro-pop duo AR/CO.

We Could Be Love finds James straddling the lines between classic house, indie dance, and pop. An 11-track journey through devotion, longing, and euphoria, the album showcases James’ growth as a songwriter and producer. The tracks are a mix of uplifting, emotive melodies that are perfectly framed for the dancefloor, with a vibe that reflects the sunny, beachside energy James is known for.

In James’ words: “‘We Could Be Love’ was such a fun album to write with so many incredible feature artists. It feels so special to release an album right now and I want to give fans a whole moment with my music…not just a song or two. This album takes me from the beach to the club and back. It’s emotive and powerful, and I’m so proud of every record. Turn it up and enjoy the vibes. ‘We Could Be Love’ is all yours.”

Featuring collaborations with artists like Izzy Bizu, Tudor, and Ross Quinn, the album spans a range of genres, blending house, deep tech, and pop. Tracks like ‘Waves Out’ dive into edgier territory, while ‘Don’t Let Me Go’ explores progressive accents. From the heartfelt lyrics of songs like ‘Medicine’ and ‘Shelter’ to the dance-inducing rhythms of ‘The Pleasure’ and ‘Make It’, We Could Be Love is a dynamic, sonic narrative.

The album also serves as the soundtrack for James’ Just Friends party series, which debuted in April in Sydney and has since expanded to Gold Coast. The first-ever U.S. edition of Just Friends coincides with the album’s release on September 13 at The Spotlight in Los Angeles. Additionally, James will embark on the We Could Be Love Tour, taking his music to clubs and venues across North America this fall, with support from Laurence Guy and Kormak.
