HARD Events has officially announced the return of HARD Summer Music Festival, set for August 1–2, 2026 in Inglewood. The festival will once again take over Hollywood Park, the sprawling entertainment district neighboring SoFi Stadium and YouTube Theater, with organizers confirming a newly refined layout building on last year’s experience.
Since launching in 2007, HARD Summer has grown from a boundary-pushing newcomer into one of Southern California’s most essential summer festivals. Known for its genre-fluid programming and sharp curatorial instincts, the event reflects the gritty, eclectic energy of Los Angeles, blending electronic music with hip-hop, Latin influences, and live performance culture. Each year, a fashion-forward, musically diverse crowd gathers for a weekend that mirrors the city’s layered creative identity. Over time, the festival has secured its reputation as the largest electronic music event in Los Angeles and a cornerstone of the West Coast festival circuit.
The move to Hollywood Park in 2024 marked a new era for HARD Summer, elevating the scale and scope of the experience. Spanning more than 300 acres, the venue offers room for immersive stage builds, interactive installations, and expansive crowd flow. For 2026, the festival returns with a refreshed site design aimed at improving stage-to-stage navigation, along with an expanded Green Stage area that allows for more open space and movement throughout the day.
Last year’s 2025 edition showcased HARD Summer’s continued commitment to sonic diversity, assembling a lineup that bridged global electronic heavyweights, crossover stars from Latin and hip-hop scenes, underground innovators, and emerging artists on the rise. Headlining performances included GRAMMY-nominated Australian standout Dom Dolla, Colombian hitmaker Feid, the brooding industrial mastery of French icon Gesaffelstein, and genre-defying producer Kaytranada. The weekend delivered a run of high-impact performances that reaffirmed the festival’s influence and cultural relevance.
Beyond the music, HARD Summer remains deeply invested in its surrounding community. Since 2023, the festival’s HARD Pre-Game initiative has partnered with more than 17 local businesses across Greater Los Angeles, including four Inglewood establishments in 2025. The program highlights the festival’s ongoing efforts to support local economies and strengthen ties with the neighborhoods it calls home. Businesses interested in participating in the 2026 HARD Pre-Game program can submit inquiries through the official application.
