Dance music maverick GRYFFIN and dubstep titan Excision have joined forces for their highly-anticipated new single “Air,” featuring Grammy-nominated pop powerhouse Julia Michaels, out now via 10K Projects.
“Air” is an electrifying collision of styles, seamlessly blending GRYFFIN’s cinematic melodic touch with Excision’s thunderous low-end prowess. Anchored by an emotionally charged vocal performance from Julia Michaels, the track soars from progressive synth leads into blistering bass stabs, creating a high-octane anthem tailor-made for festival mainstages this summer.
The release of “Air” continues GRYFFIN’s unstoppable momentum following “In My Head” with Kaskade and his 2025 rework of Band of Horses’ iconic track “The Funeral.” Over his career, GRYFFIN has proven his versatility, collaborating with major names across the electronic spectrum, from Armin van Buuren, Rita Ora, and Elderbrook on his third studio album PULSE to previous hits with Kygo, ILLENIUM, SLANDER, and OneRepublic.
