Groove Cruise, the flagship experience from Whet Travel and widely regarded as the world’s largest floating music festival, has officially revealed the lineup for its 2027 sailing—despite already selling out all 2,859 staterooms months in advance. The voyage will depart from Miami to the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island from January 21–25, 2027, aboard Allure of the Seas, part of the Royal Caribbean fleet.
Now entering its 39th voyage, Groove Cruise has evolved over more than two decades from a small gathering of 125 friends into a global community-driven phenomenon. With nearly 100,000 attendees having taken part over the years, the event has become less about a traditional festival format and more about a transformational journey at sea—where music, connection, and shared experiences define the culture.
Founder and Chief Excitement Officer Jason Beukema emphasized the significance of the milestone: selling out nearly a year in advance without a lineup announcement reflects the strength of what attendees call the #GCFAM—a deeply rooted community built on belonging, adventure, and emotional connection.
For 2027, the event will break new ground with the first-ever private takeover of Royal Caribbean’s newly introduced Royal Beach Club on Paradise Island. The destination features immersive beachfront experiences, including the Floating Flamingo—the world’s largest swim-up bar—alongside multiple pools, curated relaxation zones, and island-inspired offerings, all exclusively reserved for Groove Cruise attendees.

Musically, the 2027 lineup spans the full spectrum of electronic music, bringing together established icons and rising talent. Headliners include Adam Beyer, founder of Drumcode, alongside fan favorite BUNT., high-energy standout Disco Lines, hard-groove force KETTAMA, and techno mainstay Eli Brown.
The supporting lineup features a diverse cross-section of artists, including Andrew Bayer, CID, DJ Susan, Ely Oaks, MitiS, Sam Feldt, Tom Higgenson of Plain White T’s, Travis Clark of We The Kings, and Trivecta, among many others.
Continuing its commitment to representation, Groove Cruise 2027 features more than 35% women artists—far exceeding industry averages. Performers include Amy Wiles, Bella Renee, Jackie Hollander, Linney, Luci, Maxinne, me n ü, Nifra, Raecola, Sarah de Warren, and Whipped Cream, highlighting the brand’s ongoing push for meaningful inclusion.
Across four days and nights, more than 6,500 attendees—known as Captains—will experience 13 stages, over 100 artist-hosted activities, immersive theme parties, wellness programming, and spontaneous moments designed to foster genuine human connection. Unlike traditional festivals, Groove Cruise intentionally blurs the line between artist and audience, creating an environment where shared experiences take center stage.
The scale of the event is matched by the ship itself. Allure of the Seas, part of Royal Caribbean’s Oasis Class, recently underwent a $100 million renovation and features 18 decks, seven distinct neighborhoods, over 40 dining and bar options, and expansive entertainment spaces—including open-air environments like Central Park—allowing for one of the most dynamic festival settings in the world.

With its 2027 sailing already fully booked, Groove Cruise continues to demonstrate that its growth is driven not just by music, but by the strength of its community. As it enters its next chapter, GC27 stands as a defining example of how shared experience, culture, and connection can reshape what a music festival can be.
