Whet Travel has just revealed the eight immersive themes for Groove Cruise 2026, the sold-out edition of its iconic floating festival, sailing from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas, aboard Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas from January 22–26, 2026. With over 100 DJs, 13 stages, and 96 hours of non-stop music and curated experiences, Groove Cruise 2026 will make history as the largest music cruise ever.
Each year, Groove Cruise invites its loyal community—affectionately called the #GCFAM—to embody creativity and expression through two themes per day, from vibrant daytime looks to seductive nighttime transformations.
The voyage kicks off with Represent, a signature theme where “Captains” represent their hometowns or favorite sports teams, while first-timers, or “Virgins,” wear white to mark their debut. Returning attendees don colors based on their Groove Cruise history. That evening, the ship transforms with Crowns & Corsets, inviting steel-boned lace, crystal tiaras, and golden regalia for a royal masquerade unlike any other.
Day two brings bold creativity to the surface with Food Fetish—a deliciously over-the-top invitation to wear your cravings, from donut tutus to hot sauce capes. As night falls, Down The Rabbit Hole turns the ship into an Alice in Wonderland dreamscape, where neon mushrooms, absurd fashion, and surreal vibes rule.
Saturday’s Turquoise Temptation syncs with the shimmering waters of Nassau, calling for beachwear in aqua, teal, and turquoise. As the sun sets and the ship departs paradise, Midnight Seduction ignites the decks with sensual glam—think silk masks, raven feathers, and boundary-blurring allure.
The final day unleashes Animal Instincts, where guests embody their spirit creatures with leopard prints, feathered wings, and glowing scales. To close it all out, Shimmerverse envelops the ship in glitter, lights, and iridescent fantasy as Captains dance into infinity.
Alongside the themes, the 2026 lineup is stacked with an elite roster of electronic music talent, including Green Velvet, Chris Lorenzo, Cassian, Blastoyz, Markus Schulz, Joel Corry, Vini Vici, Joshwa, Le Youth, Blanke, Amidy, VNSSA, Christoph, Darude, Jason Ross, and many more.
Groove Cruise also continues to lead the way in representation, featuring 3-5x more female-identifying artists than the industry norm. Set aboard the Wonder of the Seas—the world’s largest cruise ship by staterooms—this year’s edition elevates the Groove Cruise experience with eight immersive “neighborhoods,” over 40 bars and restaurants, and amenities including surf simulators, luxury spas, ice skating, and more.
