Goldrush Music Festival returns once again to Rawhide Western Town September 11–12. This is one of the biggest festivals that promoter Relentless Beats puts on, and I look forward to it every year. The biggest names in the EDM scene have graced the Goldrush stage, and this year is no different, with headliners Alesso, Deadmau5, GRiZ, and Martin Garrix.
The Goldrush lineup is always stacked with some of my favorite artists that I can’t wait to see on the big stages they build around the western town, with big names in bass music like Sullivan King, Ray Volpe, Boogie T, and Midnight Tyrannosaurus all making appearances this year. I know what to expect at all of these sets: huge crowds headbanging and moshing, living their lives to the fullest.
But one of the best things about music festivals like Goldrush isn’t just my favorite artist coming to town to play a show. It is the other artists on the massive lineup that I don’t really know. The artist you hear a bit of their sets off in the distance and drag your friends to go see who it is, and that is what has me the most excited for this year’s Goldrush Music Festival.
I took some time to make a playlist of the entire lineup and find some artists that piqued my interest. I’m hoping to catch their set at Goldrush and maybe even discover some new music to fall in love with. In no particular order, here are three artists I am not familiar with who I hope to fall in love with at Goldrush: Midnight Riders.
Know Good
Starting with Know Good, this is a bit of a cheat because I did catch part of their set when they opened for Inzo on the Mirrorverse Tour last year. The duo destroyed their early set with tons of funky remixes of popular songs and their own kind of groove throughout their whole set. Their extra-funk cover of Drowning Pool’s “Bodies” is a treat, and their song “Donnie Brasco” carries tons of low-end, funky bass that will keep the crowd booty-shaking no matter what time of the night they play.
Lady Faith
Hardstyle is a genre I wish I liked more. I hear a hardstyle song, and I like it, but after a few songs banging in my head, I have to take a break and walk away. This seems to be changing with Lady Faith. Her hardstyle beats hit in a way that has kept me coming back all week, unlike most other hardstyle artists that I bounce off of. Her song “Queen Bitch of the Universe” is what originally hooked me, but her hardstyle cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Paint It Black” kept me coming back.
Zoey808
Zoey808 was the biggest surprise I had listening to the lineup. The only time I had ever seen her name before was seeing her name on the recent Sullivan King and T-Pain collab, “Push Up.” When I started going through her catalog, I was blown away by her trap remixes with heavy basslines, like her version of “A Milli” by Lil Wayne. It was good enough that I decided to dive into her 2025 album WHOISZOEY?, and I was blown away from start to finish. I started getting Tape B vibes with a faster tempo. Zoey808 is now a can’t-miss set after a week of listening to her music.
