It has been quite a year for dubstep in NYC and it doesn’t seem to be slowing its role any time soon. So when Ganja White Night graced us with yet another remarkable album, THE ONE being their eighth. we knew fire was upon us. Naturally the The One Tour is gracing us with 32 dates across the US, including a night at Brooklyn’s infamous venue, Avant Gardner. If for some reason, the album itself somehow not good enough for you… the boy swill have Jantsen, Boogie T and Subdocta, assisting in tearing the roof off Avant Gardner’s Great Hall.
Belgian-duo Ganja White Night have made a huge impact on the dubstep scene and have stayed true to the roots of old-school dubstep. This has separated them from most other acts throughout the years, who deliver more of a riddim or bro-step sound. Their music shows much influence from the genres of dub and reggae, which early dubstep mostly consisted of. While their new album is no exception to this, other heavy-hitting artists have contributed their own tastes to the album as well, such as Boogie T, Caspa, and Apashe.
Along with Ganja White Night’s wobbly signature sound, they are also known for their breathtaking visuals at live shows. For this special tour, Belgian street artist My Name Is Ebo has joined forces to deliver a fresh new array of stunning visuals. It is also worth mentioning that the legendary duo gives their audience a complete live performance (no simple press play sets over here!).
It is strongly recommended to grab tickets while they last for this highly anticipated tour as things a re wrapping up fast! If you’re a true fan of the wobbles, this is most definitely not (THE ONE) to miss.
