Blurring the line between reverie and reality, GRAMMY Award–winning artist Christian Karlsson, known globally as Galantis, has announced the Los Angeles debut of MIDSOMMAR, his immersive live show concept inspired by these luminous, blossoming nights. The two-night event will take place Friday, January 9 and Saturday, January 10 at the Hollywood Palladium, marking the first time the celebrated experience arrives in Los Angeles. For the occasion, the Hollywood Palladium will be transformed into a floral dreamscape, featuring immersive activations inspired by traditional Swedish Midsommar rituals. From flower crowns, flower queens, and maypoles to themed photo moments and an atmosphere built around collective movement, dancing remains at the heart of the experience. Galantis’ MIDSOMMAR transcends seasons, reimagining the centuries-old tradition through a lens of euphoric energy and vivid color, turning Swedish Midsommar into a hypercharged celebration.
Launched in 2021, Galantis’ MIDSOMMAR has grown into an annual signature gathering for the artist and his Seafox Nation fanbase. Over the past five years, the concept has evolved into a highly anticipated event series, selling out ten shows in New York City and expanding westward for its first-ever run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. Across these performances, more than 55,000 fans have taken part in the celebration, solidifying MIDSOMMAR as a cornerstone of the Galantis live experience.
