Cuco and Dillon Francis are in their feelings, sharing the new song and lyric video,“Fix Me”. This marks the first offering of new music from Chicano artist Cuco in 2019, following the successful EP Chicquito in 2018, which received rave reviews. Though only 20 years old, his songs are incredibly relatable and earned the artist over 100 million streams on Spotify in 2018.
On ‘Fix Me’, the bilingual track finds him yearning for another chance at love behind atmospheric production from Francis. According to Cuco, ‘Fix Me’ is a different piece from what I’m used to making but I’m really excited about it. I feel like it embodies a lot of how I feel and how my love life goes.” I played the song at least 5 times in a row, loving the slow jam feel mixed with his smooth vocals.
Cuco was recently featured on the lineup for Electric Forest 2019 and is also embarking on a new run of tour dates in February 2019. Beginning February 12th in Santa Ana, he will play five consecutive shows throughout California. Remaining tickets are available below.
