Marking a highly anticipated comeback, Freaks of Nature has unveiled the first wave of artists for its seventh edition, Freakyard, setting the stage for one of Saudi Arabia’s most immersive boutique music and arts festivals. Taking place across two weekends on February 5–6 and February 12–13, 2026, the festival will once again transform Riyadh into a hub of sound, art, and unfiltered expression at the MDLBEAST Soundstorm site in Banban.
Phase One welcomes a powerful roster of international electronic heavyweights, including Alan Walker, Alesso, Amelie Lens, ARTBAT, Meduza, Morten, and a special live performance from The Freaks (Live). The latter arrives as a unique, immersive b2b2b experience featuring Yunite, Toby Romeo, and Yaz, blending sound, light, and visuals into a single forward-facing performance designed exclusively for Freakyard.
This initial announcement is only the beginning. Over the coming weeks, Freaks of Nature will reveal a full lineup of more than 100 artists, spanning global headliners, regional innovators, and local talent. Across four nights and two weekends, Freakyard 2026 is expected to welcome over 30,000 attendees per day, reaffirming its status as a standout destination on the international clubbing calendar.
At the heart of the experience is a fully reimagined festival environment, where industrial design meets high-concept visual storytelling across three distinct stages. The Mainstage delivers euphoric, high-impact performances enhanced by large-scale production and special effects, while the Underground Stage offers a deeper, more cerebral journey—utilizing advanced 3D mapping and holographic visuals synced to relentless techno rhythms. Completing the trio, House of Freaks brings an indoor, high-energy setting filled with flamboyant flair, confetti-fueled moments, and late-night house grooves.
Beyond the music, Freakyard expands into a multi-sensory playground. Festival-goers can explore the Freak Bazar, unwind in curated chill zones, and dive into food, beverage, gaming, and interactive brand activations. Local designers, artists, and creators will be woven throughout the site, shaping a vibrant social ecosystem that encourages discovery and connection at every turn.
True to its ethos, Freakyard is an invitation to disconnect from routine and fully embrace freedom. The festival celebrates the “Freak”—an unapologetic, expressive spirit driven by curiosity, creativity, and the joy of the dance floor. Looking ahead to 2026, the experience will expand even further with the introduction of a new merchandise line, a DJ competition, immersive art installations, roaming performers, and additional experiential programming yet to be revealed.
Commenting on the announcement, Yazeed Al-Hashim, Chief Freak, shared:
“This first announcement is just an introduction to what Freakyard 2026 has in store. We’re starting with artists who set the tone, but the full story is much bigger. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be revealing names and experiences that reflect the scale, ambition, and creative direction of this edition. Freakyard is built to unfold, and we’re only getting started.”
