On the heels of FKA twigs’ GRAMMY® nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album for EUSEXUA, the visionary artist returns with “Predictable Girl,” the second single from her highly anticipated new project, EUSEXUA Afterglow, arriving this Friday. The sultry new track lands alongside a captivating music video directed by Jordan Hemingway, continuing the ethereal and immersive aesthetic that has defined twigs’ recent creative era.

Originally envisioned as a deluxe edition of EUSEXUA, Afterglow has since evolved into a standalone full-length body of work — an emotional continuation of the world she crafted earlier this year. In addition to its GRAMMY® nomination, EUSEXUA was also shortlisted for The Mercury Prize 2025 Album of the Year, further cementing twigs’ reputation as one of the most innovative figures in contemporary electronic music.

Where EUSEXUA was a love letter to the techno rave scene and its transformative energy, Afterglow captures the moments that follow — the comedown, the after-hours, the lingering pulse of euphoria that lives on long after the final beat fades. It’s the sensation of leaving the rave yet still feeling its rhythm within you, a lucid dream of sound and emotion suspended between exhaustion and transcendence.

Sonically, Afterglow remains steeped in the reverence of techno but reimagined through twigs’ singular lens — fractured, playful, and deeply human. The project distills everything she has mastered throughout her catalog: the dancefloor devotion of EUSEXUA, the infectious hooks of CAPRISONGS, the emotional vulnerability of MAGDALENE, the sensual power of LP1, and the experimental edge of her earliest EPs.

The Afterglow era first took form in Seoul, South Korea, where twigs hosted an intimate listening event followed by a sold-out rave, performing “Cheap Hotel” and “Predictable Girl” for the first time. She later brought the energy stateside, joining PinkPantheress at PC Music’s Halloween Rave in New York City to preview the single’s electrifying groove.

The term EUSEXUA, coined by twigs herself, represents “the moment before an orgasm: pure nothingness but also pure focus — a state of eusexua.” As she explained in her April 2024 British Vogue cover story, this concept captures how she aims to live her life — with intensity, vulnerability, and presence.

Executive produced by twigs and her longtime collaborator Koreless, EUSEXUA features additional production from Dylan Brady, Eartheater, Ethan P. Flynn, G-Dragon, Jeff Bhasker, and Nicolas Jaar, among others.

Upon its release in January, EUSEXUA earned widespread critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, Billboard, Variety, NME, Vulture, and Pitchfork (Best New Music), as well as The New York Times, which named it a Critic’s Pick. It has since been hailed as one of the year’s best albums by Consequence, NPR, Harper’s Bazaar, Paste Magazine, and more.

Fans can now pre-save/order EUSEXUA Afterglow and stream or watch “Predictable Girl” ahead of the album’s release this Friday, as FKA twigs continues to expand the boundaries of electronic and emotional expression.
