HypnoVizion alumni FISE and X1-Y2 have teamed up for an electrifying new collaborative single, ‘STATIC,’ out now.
Blending haunting atmospheres with visceral bass design, ‘STATIC’ is a hard-hitting fusion of cinematic tension and thunderous midtempo rhythms. The track is equal parts mechanical and dystopian, encapsulating both artists’ experimental sonic blueprints. With pulsating synth lines, glitch-ridden textures, and an ominous undercurrent, ‘STATIC’ cements itself as a standout release in the darker corners of the electronic music spectrum.
“This track came together in such a natural way. In early 2024, I came across X1-Y2’s music through my Fans Also Like section on Spotify and was immediately blown away by his sound. I reached out, and we instantly clicked—bouncing ideas back and forth until we landed on ‘STATIC.’ Our goal was to merge our styles while pushing into a raw, aggressive, industrial, and dystopian space. I’m incredibly proud of what we created, and I hope the attention to detail—and the fun we had making it—comes through in every listen.” – FISE

FISE is a Canadian-born music producer and 3D visual artist currently based in Panama. He not only conceptualizes and produces all artwork and content for his own projects but has also contributed significantly to the visuals of SVDDEN DEATH, VOYD, MELLODEATH, and REZZMAU5. Most recently, FISE led animation for REZZ’s PORTAL show, which debuted earlier this month to a sold-out crowd at Cow Palace. ‘STATIC’ marks his third single on HypnoVizion, following last year’s collaboration ‘DAMNED’ with EDDIE and solo single ‘AVARICE’.
X1-Y2 is the anonymous newcomer who has sent shockwaves through the bass world. REZZ first introduced fans to X1-Y2 last year with their collaborative rework of ‘Edge’ before teaming up for their forward-thinking four-track NOVUS EP. X1-Y2 made his solo debut on HypnoVizion with ‘SENSE’ before joining FISE for ‘STATIC’.
