Ferry Corsten Says Hello to Scoring Films with ‘Don’t Go’

by The Freaks - Staff

Recently, Ferry Corsten shared the music from his first-ever film score, for the 2018 thriller ‘Don’t Go‘.

For the score, Trance Veteran , who charted in Dj Mags Top DJs, balances melancholy piano and traditional film soundtracking with the exhilarating trance sound that has characterized his stellar career.

The David Gleeson-directed ‘Don’t Go’ stars Stephen Dorff in a mystery to uncover the cause of his daughter’s death.

Writing for film is an area Corsten has always been interested in and was the inspiration behind his 2017 concept Blueprint, an album he worked on with Of Cards screenwriter David H Miller to create a storyboard upon which the album was written, and scoring films is an area Corsten further wishes to explore.

The follows Corsten’s latest project ‘Unity’, which saw the Dutch collaborate with Paul Oakenfold among others as well as hosting an exclusive masterclass session at Point Blank London last October.
