EXIT Festival, Serbia’s globally acclaimed music event, is set to celebrate 25 years of unforgettable music and cultural moments with its ‘State of EXIT’ edition. From July 10–13, 2025, the iconic Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad will transform into a vibrant global music hub, welcoming fans from around the world to a historic celebration.
Since its inception in 2000 as a student-led movement advocating democracy and freedom in the Balkans, EXIT has grown into a cultural powerhouse. Boasting a legacy of groundbreaking performances, over 1,000 artists will take the stage across 40+ venues, continuing the festival’s tradition of genre-spanning innovation.
This year’s initial lineup sets the tone for an unforgettable experience, with legendary punk rockers Sex Pistols and Frank Carter delivering a high-energy clash of iconic punk anthems. EXIT also welcomes modern trance titan Tiësto, alongside Eric Prydz and Hurts. Adding to the excitement, techno stars Indira Paganotto and Sara Landry will debut an exclusive back-to-back set, joined by fellow heavyweights DYEN and Nico Moreno at the renowned mts Dance Arena.
Beyond the music, EXIT 2025 will reflect on its activist roots through the ‘State of EXIT’ theme, commemorating 40 years since Live Aid. On July 13, Bob Geldof, legendary musician and activist, will grace the Tesla Universe Main Stage, reminding audiences of music’s power to inspire social change.
Set in the second-largest fortress in Europe, EXIT’s Petrovaradin venue offers breathtaking views of the Danube River and an unparalleled sound experience. Often called the “Gibraltar of the Danube,” the fortress’s 17th-century architecture and intricate tunnels provide the perfect backdrop for this monumental event.
As EXIT prepares for its milestone edition, even more iconic artists and surprises are on the horizon, ensuring that the 25th anniversary will be its most remarkable celebration yet.
