EXIT, one of the world’s most influential music festivals, is embarking on a bold new journey with the announcement of its global tour, ‘The First Chapter.’ Following 25 years at its iconic home of the Petrovaradin Fortress, the festival will expand its horizons to multiple continents, bringing its unifying energy and legendary production to destinations including Egypt, India, Malta, Croatia, Macedonia, and Serbia.
This marks a significant moment in EXIT’s history, as the festival will not be held next year at the Petrovaradin Fortress due to political pressure from Serbian authorities following its public support of student protests. Instead, EXIT will carry its message of freedom, unity, and music to some of the most breathtaking and culturally rich locations around the world.
Dušan Kovačević, EXIT’s CEO & Founder, shared in a statement:
“After 25 years at the Petrovaradin Fortress, EXIT is now spreading its wings to the world. We aim to unite continents through our festivals and carry the spirit of freedom wherever we go. For us, music has always been more than entertainment — it’s a powerful force that brings people together and builds bridges between nations and cultures. Our mission is to awaken new generations to believe that a better world is possible, and that it all starts with each one of us.”
The announcement was made high above Amsterdam during the Amsterdam Dance Event, where EXIT hosted its traditional celebration at the spectacular Crane Faralda, 50 meters above the city.

The world tour begins in Croatia, where the Sea Star Festival will return to the stunning Stella Maris lagoon in Umag, Istria. Over the years, Sea Star has welcomed international heavyweights such as The Prodigy, Wu-Tang Clan, Paul Kalkbrenner, Fatboy Slim, Amelie Lens, and Nina Kraviz. Its upcoming edition is set to be one of the strongest yet.
In June, the journey continues to Macedonia, followed by a summer celebration in August across multiple scenic locations in Malta, presented in collaboration with G7 Events, one of the island’s leading promoters.
In October, EXIT travels to Egypt, where modern electronic sounds will meet ancient wonder at the Great Pyramids of Giza. Partnering with Venture Lifestyle, Egypt’s premier event promoter known for hosting global icons like Solomun, Peggy Gou, Carl Cox, and Anyma, EXIT will deliver a truly historic musical experience set against one of the world’s most awe-inspiring backdrops.
The tour continues in November, with two pulsating stops in Mumbai and Belgrade. The event in Mumbai marks EXIT’s first-ever festival in India, hosted in one of the world’s most dynamic cities — the beating heart of Bollywood, business, and nightlife. Back home in Serbia, fans can look forward to a monumental evolution of the beloved No Sleep Festival, which will transform into one of Europe’s largest raves. Known for its underground energy and elite lineups, No Sleep has previously hosted the likes of Amelie Lens, Nina Kraviz, Indira Paganotto, Bicep, Lee Burridge, I Hate Models, and Artbat.
Additional details about each destination and the full EXIT Global Tour 2026 program will be revealed in the coming weeks.
With ‘The First Chapter,’ EXIT continues its mission to unite people through music, spreading its message of freedom, connection, and cultural exchange across the world.
