The Kimpton EPIC Hotel’s rooftop pool is without a doubt the place to be during Miami Music Week this year –launching with the Official WMC Opening Party, then joined by Defected, Do Not Sleep, Repopulate Mars and Claptone’s ‘The Masquerade’ parties, there was never any doubt that Electric Ibiza and Jonathan Cowan would pull it out the bag for Sunday’s closing party. And guess what: they have.
Continuing the Balearic vibe of the week’s parties, the iconic Ibiza collective game Over and their One Night Stand party brand will be bringing Kerri Chandler–one of house music’s most iconic names–to Miami for a Music Week exclusive set–one which is sure to be an unmissable performance that closes the EPIC Pool Party series in style. Joining him is Italy’s Dj Tennis whose eclectic disco, house and electronica sets mark him as one of the scene’s favourite talents, Mathias Kaden will be bringing a taste of the underground to the rooftop, and there’s very special guest in the shape of Victor Calderone –a true industry legend whose CV reads like a music industry whos-who. Bringing three decades’ worth of experience to the Kimpton, you can expect a set to remember from one of house music’s most successful producers.
With more headliners still to be announced, support comes from Miami favourite, Jonathan Cowan, and New York’s Jean Pierre who between them will be making sure the scene is set for the week’s most exciting, talent-led closing party.From noon to 11 pm, the Kimpton’s rooftop will be bouncing and a special ‘locals appreciation day’ offer will mean that all Florida residents will get in for free before 2 pm with a valid Florida ID.
