Were you not able to snag tickets for EDC Las Vegas? Don’t fret, because you can still join in on the action during EDC Week. Taking place on May 13th-20th, EDC Week brings the best EDM performances to some of the hottest venues on the Vegas strip. The week kicks off a city-wide take over that starts ahead of the festival, which takes place May 15th-17th.
The first wave of venues was released earlier last week, with places we have come to expect like Wet Republic, Marquee Nightclub, Encore Beach Club, and Liquid Pool and Lounge. The full schedule of events and artists will be released later on, but the 2019 edition had over 125 different artists curating both day pool parties and nighttime ragers.
The 2019 lineup included everything from dirty Dupstep artists like Snails and Svdden Death, to mainstream stars like Marshmello, Steve Aoki, Martin Garrix and Diplo. House music favorites Duke Dumont, Fisher, and Nicky Romero drew in huge crowds. Lil Jon and G-Eazy even made the bill, rounding out the talent so that there was something for anyone in town.
Though Insomniac has their lips sealed on the schedule, some of the venues do not. Being my first time traveling to Vegas, I’ve been excited to research and plan for my trip. I discovered Omnia already has Illenium playing on the night of May 14th, with tickets ready to buy. Given I’m a sad girl at heart and Melodic Dupstep is the only cure, my VIP pass has been secured.
Further lineup, ticket information additional details for EDC Week will be shared in the coming months. Keep your eyes peeled on your favorite artist socials and EDC’s website.
