Ecce Shnak Collaborates with Madison Mars on Club-Ready “Prayer On Love” Remix

NYC art rockers Ecce Shnak have teamed up with world-renowned DJ-producer Madison Mars on a reimagined dance version of their track “Prayer On Love.” The Madison Mars Remix delivers a full 360-degree transformation of the original, chilled version from Ecce Shnak’s Shadows Grow Fangs EP, serving as a high-energy bridge toward the band’s forthcoming full-length debut, Dandy Variances, slated for spring release.

Based in New York City, Ecce Shnak (pronounced Eh-kay sh-knock) is composed of David Roush (composer, bassist, vocals), Bella Komodromos (vocals), Chris Krasnow (guitar), Gannon Ferrell (guitar), and Henry Buchanan-Vaughn (drums). Known for their electrifying performances—where sharp instrumental skill meets playful chaos—they merge serious thematic depth with whirlwind sonic adventures, keeping audiences riveted from start to finish.

Madison Mars (aka Madis Sillamo) brings his global electronic expertise to the remix. Renowned for remixes of Pink, Sia, Armin Van Buuren, Shaggy, Robin Schulz, and Sting, Mars has released music through major labels including Warner Music, Sony, and Universal Music, earning a Double Platinum Record for his album New Vibe Who Dis.

Alongside the “Prayer On Love” remix, Ecce Shnak recently released “Jeremy, Utilitarian Sadboy (Kill Em Mix),” reworked by German DJ-producer Eskei83. The track turns the original’s math-metal guitar riff into a pulsing dubstep synth bassline, with frenetic drums replaced by a high-octane dance rhythm—evoking cinematic action and sci-fi landscapes reminiscent of The Matrix and Blade Runner.

Originally released in February 2025, Ecce Shnak’s debut EP Shadows Grow Fangs was produced by Jeff Lucci, mixed by Nicholas Vernhes (Animal Collective, Deerhunter, Wild Nothing, The War on Drugs), and mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Joe LaPorta (David Bowie, The Weeknd, Foo Fighters, Vampire Weekend).

Since then, Ecce Shnak has released the live Backroom Sessions EP, earned press attention and airplay, performed in NYC, and toured the U.S. with platinum-selling acts Spacehog and EMF. The band also appears on EMF’s single “LGBTQ+ Lover,” an indie dance anthem filmed during their joint tour that celebrates queer visibility and inclusion.

With the Madison Mars Remix of “Prayer On Love” and continued electronic reworkings of their catalog, Ecce Shnak is solidifying their presence at the intersection of art rock and dance music, while building anticipation for their debut album Dandy Variances.

“Prayer On Love (Madison Mars Remix)” is out now via Records, Man Records, available from digital music platforms, including SpotifyYouTube and Apple Music
