While the original track ventures into dark and gnarly drum ‘n’ bass territory, the remix transforms the song into a high-energy techno anthem, infusing Tove Lo’s evocative vocals with uplifting, old-school 90s piano house vibes. The remix captures a hedonistic energy, highlighting a return to 4×4 rhythms, all while maintaining a playful yet intense vibe.
The ‘CAVE’ remix arrives after the track’s massive success. Since its October release, it has garnered over 11 million global streams, topped Beatport’s Drum & Bass Chart, and landed prominent spots on major playlists like Spotify’s MINT and Apple’s danceXL. The track has seen incredible Shazam activity and has been regularly supported by BBC Radio 1‘s Greg James.
