The legendary Docklands Festival is back for its milestone 15th anniversary edition, returning to the industrial heart of Münster on May 31, 2025, for nearly 24 hours of uninterrupted rave energy. Known for its raw urban charm and expertly curated electronic lineups, this year’s celebration promises to be the festival’s most immersive and high-impact edition yet, featuring all-new stage designs and a roster packed with cutting-edge talent.

Set across four stages within the iconic Hawerkamp grounds and along the Dortmund-Ems Canal, Docklands is both an open-air festival and a deep dive into club culture. With 15,000 attendees expected, the event retains an intimate, underground feel, creating a direct connection between the crowd and artists. There are no VIP barriers or distant mainstages—just pure, unfiltered music in an authentic rave setting.

Headlining this year’s edition is none other than global dance music heavyweight Solomun, returning to Docklands for the first time since 2016. Also on the bill are standout performances including a special ÂME b2b DJ Holographic set, groove specialist Gerd Janson, Juliet Sikora, and Patrick Mason, alongside debut appearances from WhoMadeWho (HYBRID DJ SET), Young Marco, Alinka, Ava Irandoost, Dana Montana, Joyce Muniz, Fka.m4a, and Johannes Brecht (LIVE).

  • Alis b2b Trancemaster Krause
  • Kalte Liebe (LIVE)
  • Kristin Velvet
  • Kolter
  • Supergloss

…and many more, bringing a dynamic spectrum of house, techno, trance, and experimental club music.

Following its 2024 win as Best German Electronic Music Festival by GROOVE Magazine, Docklands continues to evolve while staying true to its roots. This year introduces a full redesign of its stages:

  • Mainstage (House & Techno): Fresh new aesthetic and lighting design
  • Kanello Stage (Deep House): Updated with a bold, subcultural edge
  • Rail Stage (formerly Tree Stage): Positioned along an old railway line, hosted by HE.SHE.THEY. and Kittball Records
  • Kamp Stage (Hard Techno & Neo-Trance): Once again curated by MINT, located in the courtyard of Sputnikhalle

True to the Docklands ethos, the music doesn’t stop when the sun sets. After 10 PM, the energy shifts into surrounding clubs for an all-night afterparty experience, transforming Münster into a continuous rave zone.

Beyond the music, festivalgoers can explore a spacious food court, chill-out zones, merchandise booths, and connect with the vibrant community that has made Docklands a cornerstone of the German electronic music scene since its founding in 2010.

With hotels and Airbnbs readily available nearby, Docklands Festival 2025 offers the perfect fusion of gritty rave nostalgia and next-level production—an unmissable celebration of underground culture, fifteen years in the making.
