San Francisco-based producers AMPRS&ND and BLK&WHT have teamed up with Dances for their new EP, Out Past 2, now available via Dirtybird Records.
Out Past 2 is a captivating two-track EP that combines hypnotic beats with irresistible charm. Both tracks offer a dynamic blend of sounds: “Out Past 2” features powerful synths and electrifying basslines, while “Freak Freq” showcases bouncy percussion and energetic builds. This release marks the debut of AMPRS&ND and BLK&WHT on Dirtybird, promising to energize dance floors worldwide with its nonstop groove.
AMPRS&ND, a Bay Area native, has been influential in the local scene for over a decade, known for her tech-house and bass house style. She has previously released on labels such as DISPOSABLE, This Ain’t Bristol, House Of Hustle, and Farris Wheel.
BLK&WHT, also from San Francisco, first appeared on Birdfeed last year with the track “Like This” featuring ROMiii. Since 2015, BLK&WHT has developed a diverse sound and released music on My Techno Weighs A Ton, Gold Bloc Records, and Routine Espresso.
Dances, a producer, DJ, and vocalist with over a decade of experience in house music, has collaborated with major names like Chris Lake, Walker & Royce, Smalltown DJs, Chris Lorenzo, Matroda, and Cloonee. His previous work includes releases on Rules Don’t Apply, Club Sweat, and Solotoko, and Out Past 2 marks his return to Dirtybird since his contributions to Walker & Royce’s Self Help.
