Dirtybird kicks off 2026 with a standout collaboration, bringing together SHADED, Ardalan, Black V Neck, and Life On Planets for “Spiraling”, the latest installment of the label’s Flight Week series. Designed as a dancefloor powerhouse, the track embodies the playful yet precise Dirtybird spirit—whimsical melodies, rolling momentum, and intricate percussion merge seamlessly with Life On Planets’ pun-laden topline, delivering a high-energy club record built to captivate from start to finish.

Los Angeles-based SHADED, known for his live techno-house sets, lends his club-centric sound to the collaboration. Since his 2020 debut on Dirtybird with the Holla Atcha Boy EP, highlighted on the Heavy Heaters compilation in 2022, SHADED has cemented his presence in the global underground scene. Spiraling marks his second Flight Week contribution, following his earlier collaboration Salmon with Black V Neck.

Tehran-born, California-raised Ardalan has been part of the Dirtybird family since the early days, evolving from BBQ attendee to label mainstay. Since debuting with Mr. Spock alongside Justin Martin in 2010, and releasing EPs like Thunderdad (2016) and Escapade (2018) with Walker & Royce, Ardalan solidified his place with 2019’s album Mr. Good. In 2025, he celebrated Dirtybird’s 20th anniversary with the single Drip (Sweat) and performances at Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights.

Miami duo Black V Neck (Ian & Julian) exemplify Dirtybird’s commitment to nurturing talent. After first appearing on Birdfeed in 2018 with Stop ‘N Go, the pair graduated to the main label in 2019 with their Mouth Music EP and continued to deliver fan favorites including Bounce (2020) and Check My Brain (2025). Spiraling marks their third Flight Week release, following Drip Drop (Handle That) with Life On Planets and Salmon with SHADED.

Baltimore-born Life On Planets rounds out the collaboration, having steadily risen as a favorite within the Dirtybird roster. From his early appearance on Lubelski’s Happy Accidents hit Ice Cream Cone to performances at Dirtybird Campout x Northern Nights and Back To Baysics, Life On Planets has become a cornerstone of the label’s event series. He helped launch Flight Week in 2025 alongside Black V Neck with Drip Drop (Handle That), setting the stage for 2026’s Spiraling.

“Spiraling” captures the essence of Dirtybird—fun, frenetic, and expertly crafted for both dancefloor domination and festival mayhem—bringing together four of the label’s most dynamic talents in one unstoppable collaboration.
