Digital Gardens 2020 Officially Has Us Drooling

by The Freaks - Staff

This is not a drill, the lineup is here–-it’s time to enter back through the portal to Digital Gardens 2020.

Held in Charlotte, North Carolina each year, the 2020 installment of Digital Gardens will be on Friday, April 24th and Saturday, April 25th at the Shed Amphitheater. Now that the lineup has dropped tickets are sure to start going fast so make sure to secure yours ASAP!

The Shed Amphitheater, which is located in the industrial part of Charlotte, amplifies the dark, grungy vibes Bass lovers enjoy. Last year’s lineup was this bassheads dream. With artists like G Jones, Liquid Stranger, 1788-L, and Virtual Riot, I wasn’t sure they could one-up themselves with this year’s lineup–but they have.

With some of the most talented and freshest artists, this year’s lineup includes names like TroyBoi, Gramatik, CASPA, 12th Planet, Eprom, CharlestheFirst, Ekali, Mersiv, HEYZ, Of The Trees–I mean are you drooling yet?! That doesn’t include some of the most badass up and coming talent the Southeast has to offer that will be playing the silent disco such as Bass Canviss, Diskull, Honey Bear, Irewl, Jordan Castle, Rave Charles, Vyna, and many more hidden gems.

One thing I noticed while attending last year was it was about the arts as much as it was about the music. Run by SOMA Entertainment and now officially joined by Celestial, the festival prides itself on being an art celebration and it shows! The mainstage is decked out with mesmerizing LEDs, a blaring PK sound system, lasers, and pyrotechnics. There is also a designated area where you can cozy up or stay on your feet all night at the silent disco. According to their website, Digital Gardens brings “some of the best event production in our area, ensuring that our events are well organized, our staff is well prepared, our art is top-notch, and our events are filled with ‘intricate sounds to feed your consciousness.’”

It’s hard to find that “underground” vibe at a festival as such a request is a contradiction, but Digital Gardens nailed it and you don’t want to miss out. Grab your tickets below while they last and we hope to see you there!
