Electro-rock duo Deadcode—formed by vocalist Stephen Sims and multi-instrumentalist/producer Steve Morgan—have dropped their long-anticipated debut album Nothing and Nowhere, a genre-defying journey now streaming on all major DSPs worldwide. Mixed by the legendary Tom Lord-Alge (whose iconic credits include The Rolling Stones, Blink-182, and Weezer), the album fuses raw emotion with a relentless sonic edge.
Nothing and Nowhere dives deep into the murky depths of guilt, regret, depression, addiction, and the human desire for redemption. The result is a heavy, immersive experience that challenges conventions and refuses to shy away from pain. Driven by unfiltered honesty and emotional intensity, the record captures the chaos of fractured relationships, the ghosts of lost friends, and the internal battles fought in silence—while still clinging to a thread of hope.
“This album is about freedom,” explains Sims. “It’s rare for artists today to create without compromise. From day one, Steve and I agreed: no limits, no formulas. Nothing and Nowhere is meant to be immersive—not just in headphones, but onstage, in every part of the experience we offer.”
Deadcode recently wrapped a nationwide tour supporting industrial rock titans Filter, earning new fans across the country with their powerful live performances. More tour plans are in the works for late 2025.
To commemorate the album’s release, Deadcode is also partnering with Heritage Auctions for a special event running May 30 to June 1, focused on non-sports trading cards and comic art. Top bidders will have the chance to win exclusive Deadcode merchandise, including limited-edition vinyl and a custom set of band-themed trading cards. Additionally, over 18,000 subscribers to Heritage’s mailing list will receive an advance physical copy of Nothing and Nowhere with their next auction catalog.
With Nothing and Nowhere, Deadcode marks a bold debut—fusing darkness and defiance, analog grit and digital precision, vulnerability and power—staking their place in the modern rock landscape with fierce conviction.
