Boulder-based melodic bass visionary Dead Rose returns to Lost In Dreams with Symphony of Life, a six-track odyssey that blurs the lines between beauty and intensity, euphoria and melancholy. Building upon the momentum of fan favorites like “Take Me Away,” “All I See,” and “Worlds Apart,” this immersive EP stands as his most personal and ambitious project to date.
Dead Rose shares, “This EP is the most personal body of work I’ve ever released. What started two years ago with a love of sci-fi and space films evolved in ways I never expected. I wanted to bring that same wonder and ethereal emotion to my music, and I wouldn’t have been able to do that without the help of some incredible vocalists.”
Opening track “Atmosphere” sets the stage with haunting chords and airy vocals from RUNN, laying a dreamy foundation that gives way to electrifying D&B-inspired drops. Their chemistry continues on “Satellite,” a cinematic future bass ballad marked by pitch-shifted vocals, galactic synths, and emotional gravity. “Satellite was the track that fueled the vision behind the Symphony of Life EP,” says Dead Rose. “It represents that moment of vulnerability when you finally break through with someone and start forming a real connection.”
Elsewhere, “Losing Oxygen” brings orchestral flair and chilling emotion courtesy of Stella Smyth’s falsetto, contrasting delicate vocals with a crushing bass-driven backdrop. The experimental nature of this track—originally composed as an orchestral piece—led to a full-blown collaboration with a live orchestra.
“Take Me Away” featuring Casey Cook shifts gears into melodic drum & bass territory. Cinematic flourishes and liquid-style drops pair with Cook’s soaring vocals to capture the ecstatic rush of late-night escapism. “I wanted to create something that felt like an out-of-body experience,” Dead Rose explains. “Casey’s vocals really brought that otherworldly energy to life.”
“All I See” with KnownAsNat weaves longing and connection into a luminous bass-heavy groove. Emotional yet danceable, it’s a track that blends poignant lyricism with club-ready energy.

Closing with the heartfelt title track, “Symphony of Life” serves as a poetic finale. A progressive ballad built on orchestral swells, tender piano lines, and emotive vocals, the song captures the EP’s core message—duality and depth, passion and purpose.
With support from Illenium, Alison Wonderland, Haliene, and more, Dead Rose is emerging as a powerful force in the melodic bass scene. His meticulous production and emotionally charged storytelling continue to elevate his sound above the noise.
Symphony of Life is more than an EP—it’s an emotional, space-inspired journey that leaves a lasting imprint.
