From the quiet threshold between mountain and sea, a new chapter of Damian Lazarus’ Day Zero begins to emerge. On April 17, 2026, Day Zero Bali unveils the artists set to lead its next ceremonial gathering, transforming GWK Cultural Park into a living convergence of sound, land, and spirit. Rooted in Bali’s enduring philosophy of balance, this edition represents a defining moment for the Day Zero vision—inviting travelers, dancers, and seekers from across the globe into a shared journey toward unity and transformation.
Since its origins, Day Zero has existed as a constellation of gatherings shaped by their surroundings. From the jungles of Tulum, where its mythology was first inspired by Mayan prophecy, to the shores of São Miguel dos Milagres in Brazil, where music and landscape move in harmony, each edition reflects the land that hosts it. With Bali now illuminated within this global map, Day Zero continues its celestial passage—connecting distant cultures through ritual, intention, and transcendence.
True to Damian Lazarus’ uncompromising curatorial ethos, the Day Zero Bali lineup brings together artists whose sound reflects both precision and openness. The 2026 gathering welcomes genre-defying selectors and live performers including Bonobo (DJ Set), Âme (DJ), Jamie Jones, John Summit, Jan Blomqvist (Live), and Francis Mercier—each known for guiding dancefloors through moments of intimacy and release with equal mastery.
The lineup deepens with a diverse array of artists such as Acid Pauli, Kitty Amor, Brunello, Meera, and Bali-based collective PNNY. Additional performers include Japanese innovator RYOTA, the spiritual live presence of Satori (Live), Tina Colada, collaborative project MĪMĪ x FY, and the Odyssey Crew, forming a sonic tapestry that spans cultures, tempos, and traditions.
As the gathering unfolds from sunset into dawn, Day Zero Bali follows a carefully guided arc, allowing energy and intention to evolve organically throughout the night. As first light approaches, Damian Lazarus will step into the closing sunrise session—one of the most defining moments of the Day Zero experience. Known for his fearless edits, rare selections, and genre-fluid storytelling, Lazarus anchors the final hours in reflection and collective movement, seamlessly bridging past, present, and possibility.
At the heart of the experience stands GWK Cultural Park, rising above Bali’s southern peninsula as a natural axis between land and sky. Dominated by the monumental statue of the Hindu god Vishnu astride Garuda, towering over 120 meters high, the site carries a profound sense of guardianship and alignment. Framed by open air and distant sea, GWK becomes a sacred point of convergence where sound, intention, and place merge into shared ritual.

Two years in the making, Day Zero Bali marks the culmination of a global search for a location that felt inevitable. Guided by the belief that Bali represents a spiritual center of the universe—a place where elements align and energy draws inward—the gathering finds its home on an island revered for ritual, harmony, and renewal. Carrying the same pulse first awakened in Tulum, this Bali edition allows the Day Zero vision to evolve into new dimensions.
Led by Damian Lazarus, whose Crosstown Rebels imprint has shaped underground electronic music for more than two decades, Day Zero continues to exist at the intersection of sound, culture, and experience. In Bali, this vision meets a creative community deeply connected to craft and intention, where creation feels guided rather than imposed.
For the Bali edition, Crosstown Rebels partners with the Savaya Group, a cornerstone of the island’s contemporary cultural landscape. Rooted in the meaning of “sacred journey,” Savaya Group has played a vital role in blending music, architecture, and spirit across destinations such as Savaya, Desa Kitsuné, and Ina Ré, while honoring Bali’s ancestral traditions.
As night settles beneath Bali’s star-filled sky, each rhythm becomes a signal, each movement a meditation. Day Zero Bali is not simply an event—it is a return to source, shaped by land, sound, and the collective energy of those who gather within it.
Day Zero Week will run from April 14–19, featuring additional rituals, gatherings, and celebrations across the island, with more details to be announced.
