David Guetta and Marten Hørger are set to release their highly anticipated collaborative project MEN MACHINE EP on May 15, marking the first official joint venture between the two artists.

While the pair have crossed paths creatively over the years, MEN MACHINE represents a fully realized shared project born out of friendship, mutual admiration, and a desire to create music outside the boundaries of what currently dominates clubs and festival main stages. According to the duo, the guiding philosophy behind the EP was simple: make something fun and let the music come first.

The five-track release has reportedly been in development for more than a year, with both artists quietly testing the material during performances around the world before formally unveiling the project. Since summer 2025, David Guetta has regularly featured standout cuts including Engage featuring Vitalic and The Past, The Present, The Future throughout his Ibiza residency, where the tracks quickly evolved into major moments within his sets.

Footage captured during performances at UNVRS Ibiza last year already hinted at the scale of the project, with crowds reacting heavily to the unreleased material months ahead of the official announcement.

The duo officially debuted MEN MACHINE live on April 11 during David Guetta’s special performance at the Coachella Quasar Stage, where Marten Hørger joined him for a surprise appearance. Together, they premiered multiple tracks from the EP to a packed audience, immediately generating buzz around the project’s harder-edged club sound.

Sonically, MEN MACHINE EP marks a notable evolution for Guetta, pulling inspiration from the electroclash movement of the late ’90s while blending electro, synth-pop, techno, and new wave influences into a sound firmly rooted in modern festival culture. At a moment when darker and more aggressive club records are increasingly surfacing across the electronic scene, the project feels less like a sudden stylistic shift and more like the culmination of a direction both artists have been steadily building toward behind the scenes.

The release also arrives as a natural extension of David Guetta’s broader club-focused creative output following the launch of Future Rave alongside MORTEN in 2019. That project helped redefine modern mainstage electronic music by bridging underground club sounds with large-scale festival energy through releases, residencies, and global tours.

With MEN MACHINE EP, David Guetta and Marten Hørger now push even further into club-driven territory, delivering a project built around raw energy, experimentation, and a shared passion for dancefloor culture.
