People have all sorts of feelings when it comes to Valentine’s Day. But however you might feel about that particular day, we can all agree on one thing, and that is the fact that this holiday gives us an excuse to party! Crush Arizona began in 2009 and has since has grown to epic proportions. For the tenth year anniversary this past weekend, Relentless Beats did it big at Rawhide Western Town & Event Center, expanding the festival to a two day event. Mood music, delicious food vendors, lovely artwork, jaw-dropping outfits, nonstop lasers, happy friends, and beautiful weather all made for the perfect dancefest to attend with your special someone. Artists such as Seven Lions, Alesso, Slander, 3LAU, JOYRYDE, Black Tiger Sex Machine (and more!), completely wowed attendees with killer sets and world-class production. Here are our top 20 photos from Crush Arizona 2019!

Crush was remarkably beautiful in every way. The colors, lasers, and stage setup made for an especially unique and gorgeous experience. Attendees brought their best friends and the loves of their lives, and we could feel the love all around us. Music has a great way of bringing out the best in everyone.

Relentless Beats throws some of the best parties in the country. Crush Arizona is their personal creation, and we are so thankful to receive it every year! This past weekend felt special in many ways, but maybe even moreso because it marked a decade of Crush, as well as the expansion to a two-day event.

Shout out to the Seven Lions Codex Leonis fam! Electronic dance music has some of the closest-knit communities imaginable. Seriously, just think about it; we travel all over the world for the same exact reason. This music brings us together and fosters the deepest of connections within each other.

Alesso never ceases to amaze. Obviously one of the bigger names on the bill for the weekend, he always proves why he continues to deserve that coveted slot. He has consistently made it onto “Top 100 DJ” lists and has headlined all of our favorite festivals.

Raves are all about who you spend them with. The people around you can make or break an event. But when that event is completely focused and founded on love, the only people that surround you are the ones that feel the same way.

Not only does Kaivon have great hair, but he also has some pretty spectacular music too. The perfect tunes to experience with your crush, this up and comer knows how to put us in the feels. Check out his song “Your Eye” if you need a good cry right now.

All of your friends were at Crush Arizona 2019. Oh and Waldo, he was there too.

JOYRYDE continues to impress. The most recent time he passed through Arizona was for the incredible Phoenix Lights 2018. Genre-bending is our favorite genre, just for the record.
12.
Anna Lunoe played our second favorite set of the entire weekend. This Australian DJ is not here to mess around. People often like to say that she is in their “top female DJs” list, but personally, we think she should really just be on the “top DJs” list.
11.
Slander is a super duo that has created quite the buzz in our electronic dance music community. There is something so rad about how much support and love fans have for their favorite producers and DJs! We are all for artist-inspired group outfits, by the way.

Oh yeah, did we mention that Slander showed up to Crush and absolutely killed it? Their sets are always so packed with energy and passion.

We heard that you like pretty pink sparkly red lights, so we put pretty pink sparkly red lights on your pretty pink sparkly red lights…but seriously, the production this year was just absolutely insane. Some attendees even stated that it put Decadence Arizona to shame!

Everyone’s favorite Arizona local donned her bright pink hair (as per usual) and managed to gather up quite the crowd early in the day. Appropriately, Blossom even dropped Nero’s forever-classic hit, “Crush On You.”
7.
Relationships and connections of all kinds began, grew, and prospered at Crush. Sometimes we forget what raving really is about, but this weekend provided a friendly reminder.

While most artists focused on making us cry (in a good way of course), Wooli switched up the mood by bringing out the wiggliest wonks and wubs.
5.
If you haven’t already noticed, the outfits were absolutely on point this weekend. Fishnets, lingerie, lace, you name it, everything sexy came out in full force for Crush!
4.
The lasers this weekend were like something Arizona has never seen before. The big buzz of this entire event totally revolved around the awesome production. Relentless Beats is always full of pleasant surprises!
3.
Raving cuties surrounded us this whole weekend. Everyone decked out in their full love-themed gear and we hearted every second of it. Heart-shaped sunnies and pasties have never looked so good.

If you like emotional music with beautiful, driving melodies, BARDZ is what you need in your life, Freaks. After this weekend, we definitely consider ourselves huge fans! Keep an eye on this man, because he is about to make some wonderful waves in our scene.

Seven Lions stole the show (as always). Our favorite set of the entire weekend, this ‘king of crushes’ always brings the feels in full force, and Crush Arizona 2019 was no exception. See you next year, Freaks.
